"Interop between permissioned Besu ledgers" isn't even 5% of a solution for what DTCC needs, which is why Chainlink is being used. What about interop to Solana? Tempo? Hyperliquid? Zero? Canton? Stellar? Arc? Canton, Stellar, and Arc are the actual *already* announced chains that DTCC’s tokenization service is expanding to (with many more to come). Besu has absolutely no way of enabling interop to where DTCC already confirmed they are launching. But on top of that, what about composability with non-financial networks like Fedwire, Fednow, Swift, DTCC, CLS, FIX, credit card networks, etc, which clear and settle transactions offchain? You need a protocol that can do "orchestration" to allow for bidirectional movement of data, value, and state sync with these off-chain systems. What about all the data needs? What about compliance? What about privacy? The goal of tokenization is to have synchronized data and value across many different chains *and* systems to enable regulated 24/7 markets with atomic DvP & PvP with T+ 0 settlement. "Interop between permissioned Besu chains" and/or intracluster connectivity within Ethereum L1 isn't even a 5% solution. Chainlink is the only protocol that *already* does: Data (Risk parameters, continuous price updates, NAV, Proof of Reserves, etc.) - Interoperability between all blockchains, public and private - Compliance (KYC/AML/Sanctions list, etc.) - Privacy (Confidential computations required to protect sensitive information) - Connectivity to existing financial systems (Swift, etc.) - Connectivity to AI Agents - and more Now you see how trivial a single blockchain is compared to the true problem. But it doesn't just end there. We've all these extra things to add into the transaction. Are we gonna use multiple separate solutions for each, each with their own architectures, security models, etc.? No, what we need is a fully verifiable, decentralized runtime environment to orchestrate everything a transaction needs. Enter the Chainlink Runtime Environment. Every single operation in a transaction (from the list of requirements above) is fully verifitable, tamper-proof, traceable, and auditable. The Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) is what orchestrates the full lifecycle of these transactions. Just look at the quotes from DTCC CTO and the slide from the workflow they just demoed at SWIFT's SIBOS conference. No blockchain even comes close to fulfilling this.

Nice sock puppet account, raging retard. Here's a free business lesson: Buybacks are done by mature companies who don't have better allocations of capital. If you are spending the vast majority of your revenue on buybacks now, it means you have bleak growth prospects. See the attached image of how many decades it took for some of the world's largest tech companies to start buybacks. Therefore, the *MOST* important thing for Chainlink to do isn't to dump all of their capital or revenue into token buybacks; it's to clearly signal the intent that the LINK token is the *ONLY* place where value will ultimately be distributed, rather than competing, conflict of interest-burdened equity in a private entity that other protocols like Ripple Labs, LayerZero Labs, and Uniswap Labs have chosen to do. See attached tweets making the same point: xitter.cf/therollupco/status/206… "Yan Liberman says the technically correct answer for when to start returning capital to token holders is much later than anyone in crypto wants to hear. Public companies only do buybacks and dividends at very late stage, because there's no better use of the capital for growth." xitter.cf/LorenzoARK/status/2088… "Crypto is the only industry where 3 year old startups with thin moats and near zero barriers to entry are handing money back to investors. Think about what a buyback signals in traditional markets. Apple buys back stock because it generates $100B a year and has run out of things to build. Mature. Saturated. Ex-growth." xitter.cf/stablecoin_p/status/21… "Buybacks makes sense when you cant put more money into growing your business. If you have opportunities to capture, you don't pay dividents."

Sergey Nazarov says the one thing guiding him as a founder is the advancement of smart contracts: "My definition of a smart contract is not just code that runs on a chain." "It's code that can automate, in a cryptographically verified way, key operations." "We were working on smart contracts before Ethereum, before a lot of things that exist now." "The DTCC app chain is a moderately advanced smart contract." "It's going to get even more advanced, and Chainlink will provide more and more of what it needs." @SergeyNazarov @chainlink

You simply can't box #Chainlink into being a data provider when its verifiably orchestrating the lifecycle of DTCC workflows, which is the central clearing house for U.S. securities. DTCC is telling you this and clearly stating it's providing the industry real value. The market doesn't full get the power of Chainlink orchestration yet but they will. It's the most powerful state of Chainlink and will be the most sticky and deepest in the stack of financial flows. While Chainlink sells individual services (e.g. data, cross-chain, etc), the bigger unlock it's starting to provide now is end-to-end solutions. This is particularly attractive to institutions. In this example, it's leveraging its platform of services to power the whole transaction lifecycle of securities lending with DTCC. Essentially, Chainlink is connecting the relevant chains and existing financial systems, as well as providing the key data, cross-chain connectivity, compliance policy enforcement, all as part of one workflow that runs step by step on Chainlink oracle networks. It's basically the coordinator of the transaction lifecycle (i.e., orchestrstion) as well as the provider of key services. $LINK

Cheaply paying the whitehat $250K for a critical infinite XRP supply bug when your treasury has billions? Thanks for helping ensure the next time an attacker exploits it for 9 figures instead of reporting it in good faith. This is why people do not take XRPL or Ripple seriously as an org….

You can tell DTCC is very excited about this solution. And if they're excited, then it will literally alter the entire U.S. financial system. Best of all, the solution is powered by Chainlink.
DTCC AND CHAINLINK AT SIBOS 2026 DTCC's Dan Doney and @SergeyNazarov presented how @The_DTCC is collaborating with Chainlink to advance 24/7 collateral management. DTCC's Collateral AppChain provides shared infrastructure near real-time collateral management across financial markets and blockchains. “The problem being solved is the fragmentation of data, how everybody connects to move collateral and settle transactions, and the different systems that need to talk to each other but cannot do so quickly enough to allow intraday collateral movement.” - Sergey Nazarov DTCC’s Collateral AppChain will leverage the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) for orchestration between those systems and data sources, and CCIP which enables the movement of assets, value, and liquidity to and from the AppChain. "You finally have a reliable and legally binding ledger from the DTCC that everyone can rely on, just like they rely on the DTCC now. That's a very powerful thing that I think the capital markets have been waiting for, where they can't get that from just any chain because those guarantees with the DTCC are fundamentally different" Nazarov also added. The DTCC Collateral AppChain is expected to launch in Q1 2027. Presentation slides here: chn.lk/dtcc-chainlink-sibos-… Watch the full presentation ↓

👀 The transaction in the Chainlink Fulcrum announcement video is this exact transaction in the link below, from Ethereum to The DTCC Collateral AppChain 👀 ccip.chain.link/msg/0x753e21… Chainlink Fees required: CRE Orchestration Fee CCIP Fee Data Feeds Fee Fees paid in $LINK DTCC Collateral AppChain confirmed to be going live using Chainlink. Imagine how this is gonna scale when it goes live 🚀 And then factor in all the other institutions using the Chainlink platform too.
Introducing Chainlink Fulcrum: the gateway connecting the world’s largest financial institutions to onchain financing. As tokenized assets and financing venues expand across public and private blockchains, institutions need to mobilize collateral and access liquidity without building bespoke infrastructure for every market. Chainlink Fulcrum solves this with an end-to-end solution that separates where financing agreements are managed from where cash & collateral settle. Counterparties define the eligible assets, financing terms, and the settlement networks through which the assets move. For institutions, this unlocks: • Faster collateral mobilization that enables intraday financing, including on holidays and weekends. • 24/7 risk management through automated collateral coverage checks throughout the day, extending beyond end-of-day processes. • Greater capital efficiency by making assets across networks available for financing, helping institutions free up balance sheet capacity. • Lower operational complexity through reusable workflows that connect existing systems across public and private blockchains. The solution combines multiple aspects of the Chainlink platform, including the Chainlink Runtime Environment (orchestrates transaction lifecycle), CCIP (cross-chain data and asset transfers), and Data Streams (collateral valuation data). Chainlink Fulcrum is designed to serve all market participants, including banks, dealers, prime brokers, agent lenders, custodians, hedge funds, pension funds, insurers, sovereign wealth funds, money market funds, asset managers, tokenized fund and stablecoin issuers, and corporate treasuries. Each can lend, borrow, or mobilize collateral on terms that fit its mandate and risk parameters. Fulcrum is in the process of being integrated with leading TradFi environments, providing a single platform where participants can compare financing terms and route transactions to the venue of their choice, where the agreement is executed and governed. This is a foundational step toward global financing markets, where an asset’s utility extends beyond the network on which it was issued. 🧵↓
