Likely an off-by-one bug.

Nice, but you should really fix the Featured column on the website. It keeps associating the images with the wrong article. For ex. today I see "Samson studio" (sic) title with a shot of Activision employees, or "New Croatian conference" with a cover pic of the Samson game. 🤣

Bubbles like this don't last. 2027 should finally see it burst, due to unsustainable costs and low revenues. After that, don't expect the situation to just resume—the supply chain will be hit harder than ever before. That's what will transform the industry (again), not a freeze.

No, the problem isn't the room wanting to be in 2016 again. The room just wants tools that work reliably today.

It must explain why Unreal is so bloated and performs so poorly. It's amazing that developers still believe in fairy tales. No, LLMs aren't that yet, don't believe everything those desperate AI companies tell you.

It's disconcerting to see how inexperienced and gullible those people are. AI is already making matters worse; boycotting those silly toys is the only way to go.

No surprise there. But this safety issue is mostly a marketing stunt from AI companies anyway, so it doesn't sound such an issue.

As always, surprising that people buy those games if they know it's coming from China and damaging the economy, like most products sold by Amazon now. People really don't give a damn, even if that hurts them directly (not even mentioning ethical issues in those companies). 🙄

But if they're implementing an LLM accelerator, why is it called "inference"? Anyway, they'll still suffer from the same limitations, unless they're based on an entirely different AI engine (e.g. EBM or whatever AMI Labs is cooking). Is that what they're doing?

It's actually €200 M (it's a European company)

A little disappointed that Politico falls for those PR stunts. Just ignore those desperate attempts to salvage an IPO.

EU doesn't need to waste money on AI hype. Be smart. Let the US bring themselves on the brink of bankruptcy with that nonsense and lose what remaining technological edge they had to Asia. Let's invest in what we do best.

Indeed, sorry! I should have mentioned it was about Sweeney, not you.

Sweeney is obviously very badly informed.

I don't know if that post was written by human or AI, but it's definitely sloppy. May I remind the self-proclaimed expert OP that, if they assume 99% of the code is written by humans, it's what's running their OS, the server hosting Twitter, and all the infrastructure in-between?

The usual clickbait articles that follow bad news. Saving itself is what Xbox has just done after what the previous CEO did.

Hard to take seriously any sentence with both "AI" and "enhancing". They may as well throw "quality" in while they're at it, just for kicks.

Really good, and gives a nice identity to the game.
