The IDF says it killed Nihad Riyad Abd al-Rahim Arouq, a Hamas Shati Battalion platoon commander who participated in the October 7 massacre. According to the military, Arouq had been training terrorists and planning attacks against Israeli troops before being eliminated in a precision airstrike in Gaza.
