Hey @MichaelRosenYes Is there a name for that sound people make just before they speak? It might hiss like an intake of breath or smack as lips separate or maybe more of a snort like a hog 😀 Many singers do it almost as part of the lyrics. It kind of says, "Listen up" . No?

It would be easy to simply describe the horrors that took place conducting the Transatlantic #SlaveTrade. This work draws attention to the process of #detribalisation, which continues to force people to be reminded of the pain that was endured, each time we state our #slavename.
