Dana White has basically given up on making Haney vs Shakur. When you don't get cooperation from the two fighters, it's time to move on to fighters that actually do what to fight each other.And without getting drastically overpaid. That old staying "Fighter's fight" is now a bygone saying in this era of Boxing.

I am a Boxing Hall of Fame Elector. And I have received my Boxing Hall of Fame ballots.
In the non-participants category Al Haymon is on the ballot.
Al Haymon had a huge impact on Boxing. He blew up 925 million in investor founds, so now new potential investors shy away from Boxing. He caused many TV networks to get out of Boxing, & don't want to be in Boxing anylonger. And of course, Haymon started & championed the fighters fighting so infrequently, including being inactive for long stretches was started by Al Haymon. And lets not forget fighters announcing their retirement to avoid rematch clause agreement fights. And Haymon started the Interim world title fights thing as real world title fights
Al Haynon did have a huge impact on Boxing. And that impact was unequivocally negative.
Al Haymon helped destroy Boxing in America. That should get Al Haymon into the Hall of Shame. Not the Hall of Fame.
Anyone that actually would vote for Al Haymon has to hate Boxing. And I love Boxing.
Fuck Al Haymon.
