The one time we shout out a lurker and it would be for an awards show. They'd show up for it, but they have to say something in chat to get the award. The ultimate challenge 🫵💀

Best Event and Best Talk Show would be good ones 💀👌

The fact there are a lot more sealtubers out here than I ever realized that may be a competitive category ngl 👀

HAP BERF BUNS! 💀🧡

If I can't picture a 53 year old man sitting on a lawn chair in front of his beater car with the garage door open, a six pack in an Igloo cooler beside him, and it's at 1am with a barely functioning radio playing? Yeah it ain't good music if I can't hear the divorce finalizing in the background just saying 💀💅

BEST BALD TOGGLE 🫵💀

Sounds like somebody wants to be nominated BEFORE the form goes live 👀

Maybe like "Most Interactive Stream Setup" or "Best Yapper" could work

Would love to have a few that target PNGTubers and GIFTubers specifically!

Y'know because I am going to be setting up my awards show for the beginning of next year I wanted to know what all categories for nominations would people like to see? Of course the obvious ones like Best Vtuber, Best Rigger, Best Artist, Best Variety Streamer, and Hidden Gems. But I do want to do Recognized Achievements, Best Rebrand, and even doing ones like Best Clipper, Best Mod, Best First Time Chat, and Best Video Editor. So what ideas do y'all have for categories? 🫵💀

Yes I closed replies because I know this is going to turn into an "education campaign" post where I get a lot of the same answers back to back. I got what I needed from the folks that reached out and those that interacted. And all of it was through patience and a willingness to accommodate what I needed to hear 💀👌

Thankfully some nice folks came in and helped with educating me on what's going on with VGen. I was a very surface level consumer and stopped really trusting the site for the very things that they are finally now banning. Will there still be AI on the site? Yes. Scammers? Yes. But the steps that have been taken are at least going to help in maybe bringing my faith back to VGen as a platform for me to comm some hopefully reputable folks. As for what's happening with Altwork? I need to see things unfold further, but until then I'm going to have to wait and see how things turn out. I feel like they can have a moral turnaround and I want to see that outcome 💀👌

Thankfully I got educated today on what a VGen Broker was so I can follow along on this 💀👌

There's no need to apologize! I appreciate people taking the time to want to educate me on some of this because after making enough artist friends I kinda don't use VGen as much because it is filling with too many scammers. So this is like a flood of stuff that people who genuinely paid attention to things below the surface are putting out there while myself who can only look at things on the surface due to a busy IRL existence can't take enough reasonable time to do. So I appreciate you and Vyla trying to educate me on the matter 💀👌

🌴 Good Morning Passed Aways🌴 Yesterday was suspiciously okay and today seems to be much of the same. I still have a TON of work, but I'm fairly optimistic 💀🤙 Also got offered a music collaboration out of nowhere while eating with my wife which was kinda wild 😅

I'm also at work so I wouldn't be able to give it a solid read for another 11 hours 🥲 kinda why I skimmed that document and made the post defending an artist that I had pleasant interactions with (which I need to see how things play out and the aftermath to know for certain where I need to stand because I don't think anything is going to truly come to light for me until I see things presented in a more digestible NOT COLLEGE THESIS LEVEL format 😅)

I always thought that Altwork was just an independent studio. No clue what JRU is, but it wouldn't surprise me that that's the kind of unethical practice that can take place in a growing art industry to make competitive prices

When I had commissioned them they had the studio tag 🤔 I had skimmed through their doc and it seems like they may just be dealt a "guilty by association" hand from what I'm seeing

Hol'up wait HUH!?

@_VGen_ I don't know what's been going on, but seeing this happen to altwork is egregious and needs addressed. I urge you to fix this and have appropriate statements for those affected 🫵💀
