Listen, I love fanart. I love when you guys make things for me. It means so much to me when you take time out of your day to draw a scenario from stream or a redraw of something I post here on Twitter; however I have to put my foot down and clarify something: I will not accept ai generated images as fanart or gift art. My job is propped up by the artists that make it possible in the first place. Every thumbnail is hand drawn, memes are commissioned, and all my assets are made by people who put YEARS of hard work and effort into their craft. I won't have AI stealing their style and being used to "gift" me something. It's poison in the well. I would rather you made me a stick figure drawing, because that will mean more to me than someone cutting corners and stealing others work for themselves. Any creative that uses AI to rip off their clients or audience doesn't deserve to be called a content creator.
