As we enter the busiest period for new titles being released, we thank you all for supporting your local #Bookshop and especially @UllapoolB on today which is called #bookshopday
@booksaremybag
There are so many wonderful and important reasons for going to a Bookshop in person
....there's 'that smell' as you enter the shop,
There are booksellers to talk to & to ask for recommendations from,
There will be personal choices & reviews in the shop,
The Bookshops might have signed copies and Author events in person,

We're very sad to hear of the death of Peter May, he was a wonderful writer and a generous and gracious presence at the festival over the years. Here he is, at the most recent of six appearances in 2024 - Sending love to Janice and the rest of his family. He will be missed. – at Glasgow, Scotland
Incredibly sad news today to learn of the death of @authorpetermay . He was such a supportive author and we have held quite a few chats in @UllapoolB today from fellow admirers who are shocked at the sad news. Rest in Peace.
He's on the road again! Super Author and bringer of the traditional chocolate biscuits to bookshops, @gr_halliday was at @UllapoolB yesterday afternoon signing books with his fab new red pen and chatting to our customers on a busy Friday afternoon.

Mamy thanks indeed to Author & Historian #charliebingham who captivated our capacity audience @UllapoolB last week. #thelifeaffirmingmagicofbirds is a fascinating tale in 12 lessons about different species, about life and how important it is to just stop at times and just be.
