10/19/26 Salt Lake Ranger District- 350 piles were burned across 30 acres today in Lambs Canyon. Piles across 25 acres completed in Millcreek Canyon. Burned areas will be monitored over the next several days. Thank you to our interagency partners! #uwcnf
#uwcnf 10/19/26 Salt Lake Ranger District- Prescribed pile burning will continue in Lambs Canyon, 35 acres remaining. Pile ignitions will begin in Millcreek Canyon from Clover Springs picnic area to Big Water Trailhead. Parleys Summit prescribed burn is now being monitored.
#uwcnf 10/18/26 firefighters from the Salt Lake Ranger District and interagency partners successfully burned 630 piles across 55 acres. There were minimal smoke impacts to I-80 and surrounding communities. Firefighters will be burning in Lambs & Millcreek Canyon tomorrow.

#uwcnf Fire personnel on the Heber-Kamas Ranger District have started ignitions on the West Fork Duchesne River prescribe fire. Crews will be working in the area for the next two days. Smoke is visible from Kamas and surrounding areas. Please do not report.
#uwcnf Heber-Kamas RD, Aspen Grove Boat Ramp, Parking Area, Strawberry Narrows Trail, Soldier Creek Ridge Road and Soldier Creek Ridge Road Parking will be closed 10/8 thru 10/9. The closure is in place for public safety while construction crews are doing asphalt maintenance.
