Congrats to Drs. Iqbal Ahmed, Ravi Joshi, and Philip Greilich who collaborated on a landmark study published in JAMA showing that refrigerated platelets stored for up to 21 days remained effective for controlling bleeding in pediatric and adult cardiac surgery patients!
