"I value being actively engaged in addressing their needs and goals. Seeing their love, care and concern for patient care is very inspiring and meaningful to me."

ALT Fondo Bokembya, GME Program Coordinator I, Adult Congenital Heart Disease, Lung Transplant Pulmonology, and Interventional Pulmonology programs says what she finds most rewarding as a GME professional is discharging program operational duties that contribute to the transformative trajectory of medical education in the collaborative multilateral effort to shepherd the process of developing our trainee talent pool in becoming tomorrow’s highly skilled physician specialists.

ALT Sophia Hatami, Program Coordinator, Office of Physician-Scientist Development, says she finds it most rewarding to build relationships with trainees and support them during such an important stage of their development. "Their energy and dedication inspire me, and knowing my work helps prepare the next generation of physicians and scientists gives me a sense of purpose and contribution to the greater good."
