Masashi Yanagisawa, M.D., Ph.D., is the recipient of a 2026 Lasker Award for discoveries that revealed how orexin regulates wakefulness and causes narcolepsy when absent. His groundbreaking work conducted at UTSW, is transforming the science of sleep. bit.ly/46dG700
Rajiv Nijhawan, M.D., has been promoted to full Professor of Derm. A Mohs micrographic surgeon, he also directs the UTSW High Risk Transplant Clinic as well as the Parkland Skin Tumor Clinic and trains the next generation of derms and Mohs surgeons.
