as a Sudanese person of Afroarab descent i've always felt kinda left out in discussions to do with African culture because i'm not as dark. i have dark skin but to other black folks they always see me as Not like them because i don't have the same ethnic features exactly

and this is amplified by black representation being centered around the features of select black folk. when i see people online say 'this character isn't black enough!' 'give the Right features!' as if MY features aren't Black Enough it comes across as us being seen as a monolith
