🚨 Ripple plans to use XRP as collateral to fund customer payments
Speaking on the XRP Seoul stage, @Ripple President Monica Long said the company is working on using pools of loaned $XRP as collateral once the XRPL lending protocol is activated.
That would connect Ripple payments, credit and the XRP Ledger directly, giving XRP another potential role inside Ripple’s payment infrastructure.
