Proud to be a part of this important new strategic alliance that will solidify Rhode Island as a center for advanced manufacturing in textiles and composites.

Bingo, Alan. If tariff haters are correct that #tariffs will lead us to paying wildly higher prices for goods, then why is Fed Chairman Powell worried about TOO LOW inflation? apnews.com/3257e93ce6474e72b… #MadeInUSA #manufacturing
(What’s Left of) Our Economy: Tariffs-Led Consumer Inflation Grows…from Non-Existent to Slight alantonelson.wordpress.com/2…
Economists (and importers) keep claiming that #tariffs will lead to apocalyptic price increases. If that's the case, why has inflation been flat since the tariffs were imposed? Just asking . . . #MadeInUSA #manufacturing #TuesdayThoughts #reshoring
Since the 10% tariffs were slapped on China, my US #manufacturing company's yearly run rate increased 20% - and stayed there. Meanwhile, US economy strengthened. No backing down until the playing field with China is leveled! #MadeInUSA #TariffsHelp
“Most of the tariffs r eaten by the exporter NOT paid by the consumer, look at tubing from canada, I pay all the duty, same with other products the consumer pushes back the pain on the exporter, exactly whats intended 2 slow down China & their cheating ways” #Consumers, #Tariffs
Our Rhode Island Textile Innovation Network (RITIN) was honored on Sunday night to receive the Industry Partner Award from URI's Dept of Textiles, Fashion Merchandising and Design. Textile #manufacturing in RI is alive and well! @ritextiles #MadeInUSA
Maybe I'm missing something, but @AFLCIO position against #USMCA makes little sense to me. The deal is much better for labor than #NAFTA. If @RichardTrumka is waiting for the perfect trade deal, he should consider that "the perfect" is often the enemy of "the good." #MadeInUSA

Following Sen. Whitehouse's announcement of his new job training legislation, I was given time to spread the good news that #textiles #manufacturing is alive and well in Rhode Island! #MadeInUSA
Based on feedback from our Rhode Island Textile Innovation Network @ritextiles, @SenWhitehouse today announced national legislation aimed at closing the #manufacturing skills gap. The program offsets cost for mfrs to use retiring machine workers to train replacements #MadeInUSA
DiMicco is exactly right - again. I run a #manufacturing company that competes with China everyday. All I ask for is a level playing field. The skewed playing field has cost us millions of mfg jobs and led to stagnant real median income.
Thank u 4 compliment. The ‘people’ of #China that work hard everyday 2 build their success r not the problem. But it’s leadership has achieved their success through dishonesty, theft, predatory mercantilist practices-I could go on....China may be a global leader but not at r expense!
Textile World magazine covered RITIN's collaborative event with/at the University of Rhode Island last week. More great coverage of RI's vibrant and innovative textile industry! textileworld.com/textile-wor…
