ALT Mentors show up in many different ways in your personal and professional life. Having someone who understands you as a full person, nurtures that, and shares their own perspectives from their industry is important. I appreciate that my mentor, Matt, has been the perfect combination of cheerleader and challenger.” Espy Thomson, U.S. Digital Corps Design Fellow Matt Dobson, Product Manager, 10x
We are celebrating #NationalMentorMonth! We're lucky that U.S. Digital Corps Fellows have such a welcoming community of supportive mentors from agencies like @GSA_TTS and @USDS. Throughout the month, we'll share reflections on mentorship from our Fellows and their mentors.
ALT “The most important takeaway I have learned from Izzie is how important it is to stay true to yourself, your values, and your interests in your work — and how to hone into what those truths are in very practical ways. There are no overwhelmingly prescriptive or ‘correct’ ways to build a life or a career; your individuality is what will make your path unique and grounded.” Louisa Sholar, U.S. Digital Corps Design Fellow Izzie Zahorian, Design Lead, U.S. Digital Service
