The Duomo is the largest cathedral in Italy. It took nearly 600 years to complete, hosted the coronation of Napoleon as King of Italy and Ferdinand I as King of Lombardy–Venetia, and stood through multiple direct bombing hits in World War II.
It has survived countless wars and revolutions, but it will not survive diversity.
