Who remembers this movie? Before I got into cycling I watched this movie like 20 times as a kid. It planted a seed and 3 years later I was hooked.

I remember that issue and I had that jersey (yes, I know he is wearing a jacket). The elastic in the waist finally stretched out and I tossed it about 10 years ago.

In 1979, Greg and I were dating and he came to Minneapolis to race. Don Haugsness, whom we would meet 20 years post photo, became like a father to us and gave it to me for my birthday, 30 years after it was taken. We lost Don almost 2 years ago, and miss him every single day. ❤️
