I’ll make you a deal: if the Trump admin lied to a court to get the warrant for Omar, I promise to be as outraged as you were when the Obama admin lied to a FISA court to get a warrant to investigate Trump.

Joe Biden’s DOJ raided Mar a Lago over allegedly mishandled “classified” documents. Trump as president had the power to declassify anything he wanted, so it was unclear whether he had declassified these documents. After Mar a Lago was raided, Biden and other former presidents and executive branch officials admitted to being in possession of classified materials in their private homes in violation of the same laws Trump was alleged to have violated. Trump was hounded for years by Democrat special prosecutor Robert Mueller over Russia allegations. Mueller ultimately reported to Congress that his investigation had uncovered no actionable wrongdoing. Trump was also charged in New York State court with 34 felony counts of “falsifying a business document” for recording the reimbursement of a payment made to a former mistress by his lawyer Michael Cohen as a “legal fee.” “Falsifying a business document” is a misdemeanor, but can be a felony if the falsification is in furtherance of another felony, typically fraud. No fraud was alleged in this case, and Trump was not charged with any underlying felony; just the falsification. The theory under which the Trump charges were elevated to a felony was that, when Cohen made the payment out of his own pocket, he had committed a crime by making an illegal campaign donation, and the falsification of the reimbursement to him was in furtherance of that crime. But Trump could not be charged with making an illegal campaign donation because a candidate can contribute whatever he wants to his own campaign. The legal theory was that Trump’s false statement charge could be elevated to a felony because it was in furtherance of Cohen’s crime. It was extremely novel to charge falsifying a business document as a felony for being in service of an underlying felony that the defendant was not also charged with. It was novel to charge state-law falsification as a felony based on an underlying felony that was a federal crime but not a New York State law crime. And falsifying a business document had never been charged as a felony on the basis of being in service of a campaign finance violation. This was a very motivated prosecution stretching the law to the breaking point to try to allege a crime in this case. So blaming Donald Trump for politicizing prosecution is incredibly hypocritical.
DHS raiding a member of congress's home is exactly what a fascist police state does. This president should not be able to weaponize the federal government against political enemies. I stand with Ilhan.

🚨JUST IN: New York will not hand Mexican illegal alien Roman Amatitla over to ICE after he was charged with the March 16 Flushing fire that killed a 3-year-old and three others. Prosecutors said he stayed outside drinking beer while watching people burn and jump. ICE lodged a detainer asking New York to notify them and hold him long enough for federal agents to take custody for deportation. New York City’s Department of Correction refused the detainer because of sanctuary policies under Governor Kathy Hochul and Mayor Zohran Mamdani. By refusing the detainer, New York is not handing him over to ICE and is blocking deportation. Democrats chose the kiIIer over the toddler.

Be Case Keenum. > Grow up in West Texas. Two-star recruit. One scholarship offer. > Take it. Rewrite the NCAA record book at Houston. > Marry your high school sweetheart, the girl you took out for snow cones before any of this started. > Go undrafted anyway. > Spend your rookie season on the practice squad. > Get cut. Get claimed. Get traded. Start over. > Get your chance in Minnesota when the starter gets hurt. > Throw the Minneapolis Miracle. > Help take the Vikings within one win of the Super Bowl. > Keep moving after that, too. > Eight franchises. Different jerseys. Different playbooks. Another chance to prove you belong. > Through all those moves, keep building a life with the girl. > The girl from the snow-cone date becomes the mother of your two children. > Spend years preparing for opportunities that rarely come. > Go 1,009 days without a start. > Keep showing up. Keep doing the work. Stay ready. > Then, at 38, get the call. Chicago needs you. > Walk onto Monday Night Football. > Throw two touchdowns. Run for another. Beat the Eagles 27–7. > Do it with both your kids watching you play in person for the first time. > Finish the night on SportsCenter with your little girl beside you. All those years. All those moves. All those Sundays waiting for a chance. And when this one finally comes, you fucking crush it with your kids looking on. Imagine what that feels like. There are a lot of ways to teach your children to keep going. Letting them watch you do it has to be one of the best. Absolute legend! 🫡

Five-and-a-half years ago I warned that Biden canceling Keystone XL would increase diesel prices.
Here's what I find terrifying about the news that Joe Biden is planning to cancel Keystone XL. He doesn't even acknowledge (or know?) that the heavy oil we get from Canada is particularly vital given how US refineries work and the state of global oil demand (more diesel needed).

The problem is there is nothing "wrong" with the "economy." Economic growth is rising and unemployment is falling. Prices remaining high because of PAST INFLATION isn't an "economy" thing. Home prices being high because of a shortage of affordable inventory for first or second time homebuyers isn't an "economy" thing. Buyers taking out car loans for 84 months at 15% interest rates, and being upside down in their equity for 36-48 months isn't an "economy" thing. Having a large portion of the college educated workforce emerge from academia with worthless degrees that employers place no value in for hiring purposes isn't an "economy" thing. Trump and the GOP are going to pay the price for an "economy" when the problems are not a feature of the "economy." They are a product of choices made by voters in their own lives. Gas prices have been expensive before. Interest rates have been high before. But I've never seen so many $60,000 pickup trucks and $85,000 SUVs being driven down the road ever in my life.

Democrats and black activists are currently pushing the narrative that a black kid who accidentally drowned was actually somehow murdered in a racist conspiracy, AND that there is an ongoing epidemic of black people being lynched even though no black person has been lynched in this country since before I was born. These are two wildly fabricated, utterly delusional and evidence-free narratives, and the Left is running with both of them in a desperate quest to get some race riots ginned up before the election.

“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.” ~ C.S. Authorities are getting "stricter" with blood pressure guidelines all the time. On so many levels, it's crazy that a 25-year-old and a 75-year-old should have that same "ideal pressure" of 120/80. Here's what the medical establishment should be doing more: 1. Emphasizing that blood pressure is just a number. Someone could feel fine at a top number (systolic) of 120, but another person can start to feel dizzy 2. Overmedication is a huge problem, especially in over-65s 3. There are an array of things people can do to lower their blood pressure naturally within weeks with simple lifestyle changes— including walking more and taking in enough potassium. I have worked with many people who are shocked with how quickly their blood pressure improves with lifestyle changes 4. Yes, high blood pressure is dangerous and often needs medical therapy, but hypertension does not need to be a lifelong diagnosis. Focus on the root causes of insulin, cortisol, and inflammation 5. De-emphasizing "salt" as the huge enemy of blood pressure. As far as I am concerned it's misinformation. Yes, too much salt is bad (like anything)— but excessive carbs and sugar is the biggest driver nowadays of high blood pressure via insulin resistance

Ephesians 3:10-12 AMPC [10] [The purpose is] that through the church the complicated, many-sided wisdom of God in all its infinite variety and innumerable aspects might now be made known to the angelic rulers and authorities (principalities and powers) in the heavenly sphere. [11] This is in accordance with the terms of the eternal and timeless purpose which He has realized and carried into effect in [the person of] Christ Jesus our Lord, [12] In Whom, because of our faith in Him, we dare to have the boldness (courage and confidence) of free access (an unreserved approach to God with freedom and without fear). bible.com/bible/8/eph.3.10-1…
