Partners also highlighted the need for sustained investments in gender-responsive programmes, stronger humanitarian preparedness, and continued prioritization of the health, safety, and protection of women and children amid BARMM’s political transition.

At the summit, @unfpaph is also creating opportunities for young people to engage with its work through the UNFPA Youth Network—for young people to join and share their perspectives and serve as a sounding board to ensure initiatives reflect their needs and aspirations.

It also strengthens peer support and helps local governments build systems that respond to the needs of young people. From health services and reproductive health education to youth participation and community-based support, these efforts make stronger pathways for young people.

By bringing partners together to align priorities and identify opportunities for joint action, UNFPA continues to support efforts toward a more inclusive, responsive, and resilient Bangsamoro where women, adolescents, and young people can access essential services & support.
