It's definitely woolly sock weather and we're celebrating it by making Elizabeth Sharp's picture our new Facebook cover photo.
It is our final advent window - and it's from Cottontail Crafts in Settle.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas.
It's the Game of Wool final this evening. Which of the three talented contestants will take home the golden knitting needles?
Are you backing Ailsa, Holger or Lydia?
We think they are all fabulous so it's hard to choose.
Today's window is from The Welsh Wool Shop in Newcastle Emlyn - it's making us think of Dickens' A Christmas Carol.
We thought we were opening a window to The Yarn Dispensary in Faversham but we seem to be in Narnia.
This pompom angel bauble is so clever. The display at The Wee Crafty Owl in Grenock has us thinking of rushing out for some yarn and creating our own pompom characters for the tree.
We haven't blogged about Game of Wool this week because we can't really recommend patterns or yarn for repurposing items. So instead we'd love to see your yarnie reycled and upcycled projects.
Post a pic below and tell us all about it.
And a second Snow Queen of the Day. This window is at Stitch and Knit in Brookmans Park, Hertfordshire.
There's another lovely granny square Christmas tree in the window at @PurplePumpkinLB in Loughborough.
