Go to a website called Mobbin.com, and everyday pick an app, and redesign at least 10-20 screens, now you're wondering why Mobbin and not platforms like Dribbble or Behance; the reason is that most designs on Behance or Dribbble are just designers trying to flex their design skills. Many of them aren't functional, but Mobbin is a compilation of mobile app designs already on the market, used and tested by users over time; some have gone through several revisions based on users' feedback. Designs on Mobbin follow principles. Do this for a month or two, and you will start noticing that you are improving in mobile app designs. You will know what size fonts to use, where to place elements, and what components to use.
