We're back with our PA Day at UHN program for high school students! For our first session of the year, we welcomed students to @KITE_UHN where they toured simulation labs and heard from student researchers. It was an inspiring morning exploring #research.

A trial conducted @UHN showed how stem cell–derived islets (zimislecel) helped participants with #Type1Diabetes (T1D) become insulin-free after 1 year. These early results show promise for hard-to-manage forms of T1D.
