UPRISING MEDICAL UPDATE: ENIGMA Following additional diagnostic imaging and consultation with an orthopedic specialist, UPRISING can provide an update regarding the right shoulder injury sustained by Sev Yurievich, better known as ENIGMA, during his match at SOLSTICE IV: THE LONGEST SHADOW. Imaging has confirmed a full-thickness tear of the supraspinatus tendon in ENIGMA's right rotator cuff, along with associated damage to the labrum. The initial numbness and weakness experienced in the right arm following the injury is believed to have resulted from trauma and temporary irritation to the nerves surrounding the shoulder. Sensation has continued to improve since the event. After consultation with his medical team, ENIGMA has elected to undergo surgical repair of the damaged shoulder. The procedure will be followed by an extensive rehabilitation program. While recovery will depend upon his response to surgery and rehabilitation, ENIGMA is expected to remain out of competition for a minimum of four to six months. As a result, ENIGMA will not be medically cleared to compete for the remainder of 2026. His condition will be reevaluated before any potential return to in-ring competition in 2027. 🚨MEDICAL UPDATE: ENIGMA🚨 UPRISING can confirm that Sev Yurievich, better known as ENIGMA, sustained an injury during his match against Christian Patrick on Night Two of SOLSTICE IV: THE LONGEST SHADOW at the United Center in Chicago. The injury occurred when ENIGMA fell from the turnbuckles and struck his right shoulder against the ring post before falling to the floor. Despite experiencing immediate pain, weakness and loss of sensation in the affected arm, ENIGMA declined the referee's initial attempt to evaluate him and elected to continue the match. Following the conclusion of the bout, ENIGMA was examined by medical personnel backstage and subsequently referred for further diagnostic imaging. Initial evaluation has confirmed a significant injury to the right shoulder. ENIGMA has been advised that he will not be medically cleared to compete while additional evaluation is completed and an appropriate course of treatment is determined. At this time, there is no confirmed timetable for his return to competition.
