Earlier this week, a worker at the Charlotte airport died from excessive heat. Last year a city water worker in Greensboro, two farm workers, two construction workers & a postal worker all died from excessive heat in our state. Enough is enough. We need @NCDOL to establish a law!

Last night, UE150 VP-Elect Darrion Smith spoke at Durham County meeting on behalf of our union along w community members, to demand a strict 12 mo moratorium on data centers. Instead the county decided on a 9-month “pause” w too many exceptions for “small” data centers.
