It’s been one month since Match Day, and the PLUS crew is still jumping for joy as we welcome 5 incoming interns to @UCSFChildrens and 4 rising 2nd-years from @UCSFBenioffOAK!
Finally, we said farewell to @alumniUCSF weekend back at Mission Hall in the @UCSFPediatrics @ucsfpedsres RISE Gallery. Many thanks to Drs Neeti Doshi and Jimmy Franco for curating the incredible artwork that will soon grace the halls of the @ZSFGCare Children’s Health Center!
We ended the night with a beautiful reception at @UCSF Pride Hall where we took the opportunity to honor Dr Kuo for her incredible work!
Then we headed over to @sparksocialsf for lunch with the whole @UCSFPediatrics alumni family
This morning, we had the opportunity to serve alongside our community partners @MCCLA_Mission and @GLIDEsf
Our weekend started off at Mission Hall with some lunch and community building between current PLUS residents and PLUS alumni
The PLUS program was founded in 2004 by Dr Anda Kuo who saw a gap in the way leadership skills and advocacy were taught in pediatric training

We were thrilled to welcome artist & activist, Michelle Browder, who came to our hospital to tour our recently opened BLOOM: Black Baby Equity Clinic. During the visit, she met with pediatrician Dr. Dayna Long, to discuss plans for opening a similar clinic in Alabama!
The PLUS crew is at it again! We were welcomed to the Hummingbird Farm, a beautiful 6-acre community garden in the Excelsior. We got our hands dirty and learned about many plants and their benefits. Be sure to check out the incredible community Justice work being done by @PODERSF
The goal is Justice and the majority opinion of this Supreme Court is once again complicit in a grave injustice. It's not just about college.
