ALT GUIDELINES FOR SHOOTING iPHONE VIDEO • Free up space - video files get large very quickly: 1min = 30-100mb • Carry extra battery power + clean your lens • "Shoot for the edit": limited capacity means thinking about the shots can help • Go into airplane mode to avoid interruptions - but come out of it to send (if wifi is available, go into airplane mode & turn the wifi back on; if not, divert calls) •Hold your phone horizontally with the iPhone's circular button on the right • Hold it as steadily as possible, using two hands; or rest it on a flat surface • If possible, lean against an object (wall, lamp-post) to keep yourself steadier • Tap the screen to adjust the focus and exposure • Press and hold on the screen to lock the focus/exposure • If applicable, do a white balance (not all video apps have this function) • Get a range of shots of the same scene - from close-up, far away etc
