📨Have you got a suspicious call from your bank or the local police alerting you of some fraudulent activity in your account?
⚠️Hang up the phone. Your bank will never call asking you to verify personal information over the phone.

If you or someone who know receives an unexpected call by someone claiming to be from your bank or a police officer, verify who you are speaking to.
Hang up, wait five minutes and call back on a number you know is genuine #courierfraud
Unfortunately we are seeing Distraction Phone Thefts on campus in our cafes. Please keep your phone out of sight or put it away if a stranger approaches you so it is safe. If you see someone acting in a suspicious way or witness a theft please use SafeZone to contact Security.
‼️We’ve had 7 reports of distraction thefts in #City coffee shops and cafes in the last 24 hours‼️
Make sure you keep a close 👀 on your phone and personal belongings, don’t leave them in sight of potential criminals.
