went to visit a friend who’s a ceramicist and works in a studio with no phone signal in a tiny yorkshire village. he doesn’t listen to podcasts or music, only occasionally uses the radio, and when I asked him what he thinks about all day he just said “well, pots mostly”

Person 1: I understand this but confused about folks wearing them alone in their cars? Person 2: sometimes it’s easier to leave it on than take it off and put it back on multiple times. Sometimes someone else may have been in the car with you who doesn’t mask and you’re giving the car time to air out first. Sometimes you might be on the way to pick someone up who is immunocompromised and you don’t want to infect them with anything. Sometimes people mask in cars because they’re allergic to gas/diesel fumes (this was a thing long before the pandemic. Sometimes it’s none of your business.
