One of my biggest pet peeves in sports is teams going for two when they're down 8 in the fourth quarter. I truly don't care what the analytics say. Your primary purpose should be doing everything in your power to get the game to overtime.

Darren Mougey is far from perfect, but saying he’s also “4-17” when he didn’t hire one of the three worst coaches in the NFL feels disingenuous. At this point, I think many fans would rather have Mougey involved in the next coaching search than trust Woody Johnson to hire an entirely new GM and HC tandem again. The Jets still stink, but Mougey has done some good things and has set the team up with 3 first rounders and cap space.

It's unacceptable the way the #Jets use Garrett Wilson. Special things happen when the ball heads in his direction. There is zero excuse to not target him 10+ times each week. He's among the best in the league. Wilson took high road when he spoke after the game. Did say "I want more on my plate," as he should. This line raised my eyebrows: "I feel good. I (didn't) take no hits."

What would have happened if the Giants gave up on @EliManning after his first 10 starts? Pretty dumb, considering he went on to win two Super Bowl MVPs. In no way am I predicting J.J. McCarthy will ever accomplish anything close to what Manning did, my point is teams often give up on QBs too quickly and you never know when things will click.
