The horror thriller βDark Was The Nightβ (aka βMonster Hunterβ) starring Kevin Durand, Bianca Kajlich, Steve Agee, and Lukas Haas opened in theaters ten years ago this week. π¨ π π±β¨β¨TRIVIA: Based on "The Devil's Footprints" phenomenon that occurred in 19th century England. Mysterious hoof-like footprints appeared in the snow between 8 February and 9 February 1855 in Devon all along the 40 to 100 miles (60 to 160 km). The prints appeared to pass through walls and over rooftops, marking a route in a perfect straight line. It is still considered to be an unsolved mystery. (IMDB) π€

Favorite Under-Appreciated Horror Movie Countdown. Today's pick: DARK WAS THE NIGHT, a small-town monster flick with excellent performances by Kevin Durand and Lukas Haas. They elevate it above the average. And the cinematography is on point. #horrormovie

Every time I watch LA CONFIDENTIAL I'm temporarily convinced it's the coolest movie ever made.
(It might be)

Richard Gadd: "If 'Baby Reindeer' has proved anything, it's that there's no set formula to this, that you don't big stars, proven IP, long-running series...to have a hit. The only constant across any success in television is good storytelling, good storytelling that speaks to our times. So take risks, push boundaries, explore the uncomfortable, dare to fail in order to achieve." bit.ly/3XKVFVF
Despite the endless declarations that "period is just so hard right now."

As expected, this looks phenomenal.
Absolutely insane that it isn't getting a wide theatrical.
They used to tell stories about this place.
Based on Stephen King's terrifying novel, the new Max Original film #SalemsLot, from the creator of The Conjuring Universe and a producer of It, premieres October 3 exclusively on Max. #MaxGetsMovies
This is most excellent.
Coming October 22nd for the first time in 4K UHD Blu-ray, both The Sixth Sense and Signs!
Now we just need The Village - any shot at that @MNightShyamalan?
