If this tweet didn’t exist then everything that just happened wouldn’t be AS questionable. Because it’s public about it, I’m convinced they manipulated it for the 5. Check the throttle traces
Talladega chatter from garage area: Hearing Chevy has instructed teams to help Larson. Don’t let him get hung out at end of stages to max potential for stage points. Talking to Toyota CC that may hurt their cars bc so many Chevys up front helps Kyle but also can take stage points away from Toyota drivers. It’s one thing to have a plan it’s another to execute. I expect all Chevy teams to be on Larson’s strategy to maximize the 5’s day. The “Larson effect” w Chevy will be a fascinating one. Will it work? Must see TV! 2pmET NBc #NASCAR

NASCAR said 5 never went below the double yellow. Forgetting him the 1 went a half a mile below it and nothing happened to him, so I guess we just weren’t enforcing it today
I would say can’t wait for it the official NASCAR response “sorry, we made a mistake on not calling the below the yellow line rule but we aren’t taking away a win” but I know Mr. H is already opening that check book so we won’t see that statement.

I don't buy that Larson won that naturally. Chevy had chastain in the front of the pack all day which ended up causing a wreck that took out most of the major contenders and several chase drivers. then, when Larson gets shuffled out, suddenly nobody is willing to block him
Larson better end up in the hauler before the end of stage one next week. Fords, Toyotas your time to shine is NOW!

All below the yellow line surely they will be called right?
Damn. NASCAR loses all credibility for that call. Forced 2 cars below the yellow line and NO penalty? Justice for Matt Dibenedetto!
