10 years ago, I was diagnosed as autistic.
Honestly, the whole thing was really challenging—mentally and emotionally.
I'm still figuring our how my brain works and the journey has been tough
Here’s some of the ways I've realised being autistic has shaped me

Hi, I’m Tyla, I’m autistic.
I want to put on a series of events for Black young women who are autistic this autism awareness month.
If this is you, Let me know what events you'd like to attend and what time would be best
Thank you x

So I’ve accidentally added something to my routine
I now can’t start work on Thursday without a coffee and a croissant
I’m not mad at it but this is the first week I’ve not picked them up on my way back from the gym
Spent 1hour trying to workout why I can’t sit down to work
