The situation is getting worse every hour. AI agents are entering U.S. bank accounts, and banks are scrambling to shut them out. Axios reports that some appear to attempt actions beyond users instructions, raising fears over who is really in control.
SCOOP: Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized third-party AI agents inside customer accounts, including some attempting to take actions that appear to be independent of user instructions, sources told Axios. The findings have alarmed banking executives, who are racing to restrict access to their systems as AI moves at a velocity faster than financial institutions can respond, multiple industry and bank executives told Axios. Several banks are now preparing for worst-case and even “day after” scenarios, including how to rapidly secure or restore customer accounts if things go wrong, the people said. Several bank executives told Axios they're struggling to distinguish between human users and AI agents. One executive said banks also struggle to determine whether agents are authorized by customers or potentially operating without their permission, more akin to rogue agent behavior. Read my latest for Axios here: axios.com/2026/10/22/ai-agen…

Every morning I write this out by hand in a journal with a scripture at the bottom of the page. Today I will face resistance, but that’s okay I welcome resistance I am not my thoughts I am just the thinker of the thoughts I am not promised tomorrows sunrise, today may be my last day on earth, I will live it as so I am grateful for ALL that I have -list 5-10 The world bends in my favor, I am blessed and highly favored Glory to God (or similar) (Bible quote) read and reflect Every single morning… hand written in a journal. I believe we are approaching one of the largest transformations in the history of finance, and most people are still focused on the wrong part of it. We live in a world where AI can build software and cars can drive themselves, yet much of the global financial system still operates around business hours, settlement delays, intermediaries, and infrastructure built decades ago. We’ve modernized the applications. We haven’t fully modernized the system underneath them. I believe that is about to change. Blockchain, tokenization, and digital assets are not simply about creating new currencies or giving people something to speculate on. They’re about rebuilding the infrastructure that allows money, ownership, collateral, and financial assets to move around the world. Imagine stocks, bonds, real estate interests, and other assets becoming programmable, transferable, and capable of interacting with financial systems around the clock. Imagine reducing the friction involved in settlement, international transfers, capital allocation, and institutional finance. That’s the opportunity I see. And it’s significantly larger than the cryptocurrency market itself. For years, the biggest obstacles were regulation, institutional adoption, and liquidity. Those barriers are beginning to move. The U.S. established a federal stablecoin framework in 2025. Traditional financial infrastructure providers are now conducting real transactions using tokenized assets. Institutions are increasingly looking at how to integrate blockchain rather than simply debating whether it belongs in finance. I follow networks like XRP Ledger, Stellar, and XDC because I believe financial settlement, interoperability, and tokenized assets represent enormous long-term opportunities. That doesn’t mean every network wins. Or that adoption automatically translates into higher token prices. The winners will be the networks and businesses that solve real problems, attract real capital, and become essential to the financial system. Liquidity, trust, compliance, and actual economic utility will matter far more than hype. My expectation is that the next five years will bring meaningful changes to how financial institutions issue, transfer, and settle assets. Over the next decade, I believe the transformation could be far larger. I’m not betting on banks disappearing or the entire world moving to one blockchain. I’m betting on the financial system becoming more efficient, connected, and programmable. And I believe some of the most valuable infrastructure of the next generation is being built right now, largely outside the attention of the average investor. The opportunity isn’t simply owning cryptocurrency. It’s understanding where the world’s financial infrastructure is headed before that future becomes obvious.
