Because it’s not about Palestine. It’s about anti-westernism at all cost
So most of those activists in the West who claim to champion Palestinian rights side with Houthi terrorists against Saudi Arabia. Does anyone know why?

Some people want us to stay silent on this because Hamas is “resistance.”
More than 20 masked Hamas gunmen took turns brutally beating and torturing Abu Hammam Jundiyya. They broke his jaw and legs and beat him so badly. His crime? Speaking out against merchants who have been taking advantage of the war and the suffering of people in Gaza to line their own pockets. Hamas collects huge sums of money from merchants in exchange for turning a blind eye to their abuses and exploitation of ordinary people in Gaza. They pay Hamas, and Hamas lets them get away with it. That's how things work in Gaza now. There are leaked audio recordings in which the merchants themselves admit to these arrangements. Also, Abu Hammam has been a vocal critic of Hamas and strongly condemned October 7, which he believes brought catastrophe upon Gaza. He has also publicly stated on several occasions that he received death threats from both Hamas security and the Al-Qassam Brigades because of his writings. Abu Hammam was released two days ago, but only after being forced to sign a pledge promising not to write about Hamas or the merchants exploiting the suffering of Gazans again.

No one gets to say Jews didn’t try.
On this day—October 10, 1960 Golda Meir offered the Arab states a meeting with Ben-Gurion, no conditions. The Arab answer was no and to call her a Nazi in a UN tirade. Foreign Minister Meir stood in the UN General Assembly and said the Prime Minister was ready to sit down, in New York or anywhere else, without preconditions, to talk peace or at least a non-aggression pact. Israel was a tiny sliver of land with a waist only nine miles wide after the 1949 armistice. Still the Arabs refused to even talk peace. Meir addressed Egypt’s Nasser, Jordan’s Hussein, and the Lebanese prime minister by name. A Western European delegate told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency it was the most reasonable proposal he had heard in a long time. Then came the response. Ahmad Shukairy of Saudi Arabia took the right of reply and used the word “Nazi” a dozen times. “Nazi Zionism.” A “Nazi war of aggression.” Five days later, Nasser said Israel was trying to deceive world opinion and that Egypt would never recognize the Jewish state. Shukairy would later become the first chairman of the PLO and would draft its charter that refused a Jewish state in any borders. Meir had simply asked for a meeting. She was rebuffed and called the name of the people who had exterminated the Jews of Europe.

Hamas has long dehumanized Palestinians, treating their lives as expendable and their deaths as losses that can be replaced by more births. Its own leaders have made that clear. In their eyes, Palestinian lives are theirs to sacrifice for their delusions and Islamist agenda. - Yahya Sinwar: "We are ready to be annihilated, every single one of us, down to our last child." - Ismail Haniyeh said Palestinians need the blood of women, children, and the elderly to awaken their revolutionary spirit. - Mousa Abu Marzouk said Hamas's tunnels were built to protect its fighters, and that protecting Gaza's civilians was the responsibility of the UN and Israel. - Ghazi Hamad: "Even if Israel kills 20,000 or another 100,000, this is a strong card in our hands."

Jews have a right to have our own country. Jews have a right to go to the land of our ancestors and connect to our history. Jews have a right to seek sanctuary when the world comes to slaughter us like they did our grandparents. And Jews have a right to fight back.

In reality, not even one Palestinian life was saved by Hamas. They never attempted to defend civilians
Three full years have passed since the day our lives were turned upside down. Hamas planned the October 7 attack, and then left us to our fate. I remember that we ran out of food and water only a week after October 7. There were no emergency protocols in place to protect us, even though Hamas was the governing authority in Gaza and had a responsibility toward the civilians living under its rule. At the time, I was nursing my two-month-old baby. Within a week, we were running short of formula. I was one of the lucky mothers because I was able to switch completely to breastfeeding. Other mothers and their babies were not as lucky. This is just one small example of how we were left alone, without protection or support. Twenty days after October 7, Mousa Abu Marzouq, a senior Hamas leader, was asked in an interview with Russia Today: “If Hamas built 500 kilometers of tunnels, why didn’t it build shelters for civilians to use during airstrikes?” His answer was blunt: “We built the tunnels because we have nothing to defend ourselves with against killings and targeting. These tunnels are to protect ourselves from the planes. We are fighters from the tunnels. As for Gaza, you and everyone else know that 75% of the population are refugees. And refugees are the responsibility of the United Nations to protect. The occupation is responsible for providing them with all services according to the Geneva Convention.” In that moment, Abu Marzouq attempted to strip Hamas of any responsibility for the civilians living under its rule. Instead, he placed the burden entirely on international actors and the Israeli occupation, arguing that because 75% of Gaza’s population are refugees, it is the United Nations’ responsibility to protect them. What about the other 25%? What about the people who are not refugees? What struck me most about Abu Marzouq’s words was the division they revealed. There is a clear binary: “we,” the fighters, and “they,” the refugees\civilians. The people are no longer part of the movement. They are not even part of the conversation. They are treated as an external burden, left to beg the international community for aid and protection.

Palestinians who oppose Hamas's terrorism are too often unwelcome in the pro-Palestine movement. That is the unfortunate reality. It doesn't matter how outspoken you are about Israeli crimes against Palestinians, or even that you are Palestinian yourself. You can still be excluded, doxxed, and harassed simply for speaking out against Hamas. The leaders of the pro-Palestine movement in the West have completely adopted Hamas's narrative. Question it, and you're out. Today, as some celebrate October 7, they'll call you a traitor for saying what should be obvious: murdering and kidnapping civilians is terrorism and a crime against humanity. It won't matter what else you've said or how long you've fought for Palestinian rights.

Arab Barometer, one of the largest public opinion survey repositories in the Middle East, has released a new survey regarding Palestinians and their feelings on a two-state solution. Once again, the results show that Palestinians desire two states over one. As loud and insistent as the Free Palestine movement in the West is about killing/exiling every Jew to make way for a single Arab state, let's maybe listen to the people this conflict actually affects.

Replying to @arnondeg
🤣 my only criticism is that you actually underplay your point. ANC didn’t just have a “better ratio”, it didn’t target civilians and total number of civilians it killed inadvertently were in dozens. Hamas and similar groups have tried killing as many civilians as they could since their very birth

Some people point to the Arabs and Muslims killed by Hamas on October 7 to persuade other Arabs and Muslims to condemn that day. But why should that matter? Hamas murdered and kidnapped civilians. Their religion, ethnicity, or identity is irrelevant to me. Targeting civilians is unacceptable, no matter who the perpetrator is and no matter who the victims are.

Untrue. The National Socialist German Workers Party (NSDAP) was another example of such a party. Hitler argued in Mein Kampf that Zionism was a conspiracy to establish a base for Jewish crime.

Let’s be clear: these groups are celebrating terrorism, plain and simple. Most Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank do not celebrate October 7. They see it as a catastrophic day that led Gaza into slaughter and devastation. What people need to understand is that these groups do not care about Palestinian lives. They believe it is worth sacrificing Palestinians in Gaza for their resistance fantasies.
