There is nothing more deadly than hatred armed with a gun. Hateful rhetoric is on the rise right now in America, and it only becomes deadlier when coupled with lax gun laws—putting entire communities at risk of hate-fueled violence. We must #DisarmHate.

It is imperative that Democrats make the most of their trifecta while they still have it. Congress has to get this right.
Though this is a somewhat regular problem — Congress is prone to procrastinating before the holidays or the end of the fiscal year — the annual struggle to fund the government is still cause for concern.
