🎾 🇧🇪 ATP Brussels Max Raphael Collignon +125 4U Basavareddy is getting too much respect from the books here. I would have this line flipped in favor of Collignon. The reason we're getting this line right now is the fact that Collignon has not played since the US Open and has not won a match since July. This is the perfect opportunity for the rising Belgian to get back on track. I'm a big fan of Collignon and have been following him for the past few years. His game is extremely well-rounded. He's got a massive first serve, but that doesn't mean he's the typical servebot. He's extremely solid off of both wings and has great rally tolerance and chooses to build points until that perfect shot to end it shows up. His struggles show up when his physicality and second serve are tested, but I don't think that will be an issue today. He's playing here at his home tournament in Brussels. Indoor hard courts take away the outside factors like heat and wind that can cause his physical struggles or double faults to happen. Collignon is one of the better indoor hard court players on tour. He has 100 career matches on this surface and won 66 of those. Perfect 5-0 record this year, with a Challenger title in Pau where he didn't drop a set. He went 22-8 on this surface last year and made his way all the way to the semifinals at this tournament where he took out Bergs and Fokina before narrowly losing to eventual champion, Felix Auger-Aliassime. Nishesh Basavareddy is another young player that has made a name for himself in the last couple years. However, I think he gets overrated by the books at times when it isn't warranted. There's nothing that really stands out to me about his game. He's your prototypical aggressive baseliner, with a pretty average serve and good movement. This holds up and works for him at Challenger level when playing against similar opponents, but at tour level that can't hold. He's made it through qualifying this tournament where he's looked decent, but also faced 10 break points and hasn't really been tested by anyone of Collignon's caliber. I just don't think that he has the tools needed to take out Collignon on this surface and in these conditions today.
