“Free Palestine” is just the another form of “67”… feels good to be a part of for the brain-rotted until it’s not fashionable anymore. Then they’ll be wearing another emotionally charged fashion accessory that keeps them in the approval and affirmation domain of the superficial horde. They’re there for the emotional release rollercoaster and borrowed sense of personal significance the “movement” lends them. They skim over the top of these trends like a stone on a lake, never bothering to sink into educating themselves about the nuances and hypocrisies of the incredibly complex situation. Never quietly pondering if maybe they don’t have all the facts. These are not self-reflective people. These are deeply unserious and undeveloped people. Empty platitudes.

Sometimes I just click on the profile pictures of people making these nonsense “Free Palestine” cult posts, stare at them, and wonder what happened in their lives to lead them to being so grossly misinformed and yet confident about it. What caused them to favor the emotional release of aligning with the new hotness… an ideological cult… instead of preferring to double check that the ground they march on is actually solid by fact checking? What happened to these people? And how are they able to function day to day? I hope that much of it actually IS bot traffic…. Because it’s embarrassing being of the same species as these people who aren’t interested in facts or truth, and are so easily deceived. I recognize that at some level, the capacity for that level of stupidity exists within all of us. But many of our species clearly haven’t transcended their worst impulses, and choose to run on rage instead of reason. I’m not sure what to do about that.

I can’t help but think the woke crowd ran out of actual injustice to fight in the West so they’re trying to manufacture and exaggerate it everywhere they go. Gone are the days of women being unable to vote, slavery, lynchings, Jim Crow laws… the low-hanging fruit of easily being able to stand up for what’s right. So a lot of people have a solution in search of a problem. It almost seems like the original objective is to oppose what the other side says, so rather than getting onboard with moving society, technology, and lives forward, and finding their place, way to contribute, and their own meaning, they’ll instead do anything to avoid having real responsibility or jobs. It’s easy to feel like you are doing something when there is no clear success condition or indicator to measure yourself against. Merely running in place and making sure everyone sees you doing it is not admirable, and will leave you broke, broken, and miserable in the end.
