I’m so happy to hear this news. What an example of never giving up Tyler is. To go from living out of his car to owning #BET is an incredible story. And to have our first Black television network in Black hands again is a good look to me. 🙏🏾 Congratulations @tylerperry!

On 6.10.1882 Peter Vinegar, Isaac King & George Robertson were brutally murdered by a mob in Lawrence, KS. 140 yrs later we dedicate an @eji_org marker near the site of the lynching. Today I saw the corresponding marker as part of the Memorial Project in Montgomery, AL. #AAASKU

We are saddened to hear about the tragic passing of Virgil Abloh. Simply put he was an icon. He broke down doors and barriers as he became the first African American to ever be an artistic director for Louis Vuitton in the brand’s entire 167 years of existence. #ESSENCE

A representative from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs will review the CARES funds available to tenants & landlords, who qualifies, how to apply, & the selection process. So if you or someone you know needs housing help, PLEASE share this with them.
