A very quick debrief of last nights events as I think everyone is now sick of the same things being mentioned every week! But we have a few stills here looking at where things went wrong. And actually where some went right, because the first half did offer some positives!

Wolves’ second goal. Just an inexplicable individual error. A heavy touch when we had secure possession. You can’t legislate for an error like this. It’s just one of those unfortunate things that you can’t recover from unless the opposition make an error or your keeper bails you out. The keeper should’ve saved it, I’m not sure how it goes in ultimately, but it’s another one Coudert won’t want to see again.

😡 This passage of play prompted an angry response inside Turf Moor last night. 🤔 Knowing what we know now, would you have re-registered Marcus Edwards?

Understand it’s business as usual at Gawthorpe today with Mike Jackson leading a small session with those players who were on the bench last night. Josh Cullen wasn’t involved in this session

After tonight’s result, Burnley now have the unwanted record of the second-longest winless home league run in ENGLISH FOOTBALL HISTORY. The outright record of 23 is held by a Sheffield Wednesday side who were blighted by unpaid wages, a transfer ban and administration…
📊 Burnley v Wolves Stat Pack #twitterclarets #wwfc - Burnley have only won two league games since the start of November. - Burnley are winless in 20 home league games (D10, L10). A failure to win here will see them secure the outright second-longest such run in English football history. The record is 23. - Burnley have lost just two of their last 64 Championship games at Turf Moor. - Wolves have lost their last two league games but haven’t lost three in a row in the Championship since March 2017. - Wolves have won just one of their last five away games in all competitions. - Wolves have won their last three Friday-held Championship away fixtures, while they’re unbeaten in five second-tier games at any venue (W4, D1). - Burnley have lost just one of the last 11 league meetings (W5, D5). - Wolves are without a win across their last eight league visits to Turf Moor, with their last triumph coming in 2009/10.

🧠 Evening teaser ✅ Burnley beat Wolves 1-0 at Turf Moor in February 2009. 4️⃣ FOUR players in the Wolves starting XI that day went on to play for the Clarets. 🤔 Can you name them all? #twitterclarets

Bonus point if you can also name one of the substitutes who came on that day for Wolves who also went on to sign for Burnley!

✍️ Key takings from Nicky Hayen’s Wolves presser #twitterclarets - Anel out for the next 12 days in accordance with concussion protocols - Hinted that it will either be Alleyne or Ekdal who step in - Satpayev available for selection again - Vardy fit enough to start again if need be - Cullen and Banel trained today and have a normal training week next week with a view to being available for Lincoln. - Hoping to see a consistent XI but frustrated by injuries hampering the ability to name unchanged line-ups - International break helped become physically fitter and believes that was evident in the last two games - Refuted that sitting back on Tuesday was the better option and felt looking for a third was the better approach. “Against Bristol we were told we sat to deep, now we get told we stayed too high” - Insists Burnley “don’t have a team to sit back” - Aware of the situation with Jackson who received a personal insult which “crossed the line” - Still feels he has to convince the fans he’s the right man for the job
