Rounding into form as we close in on the 1912! Hoping the booger in the last pic is right & everyone forecasting the SuperNiño is wrong! Finger crossed 🤞🏻! Let’s roll, helluva crew, helluva season.
She’s hangin’ tough despite mid to upper 90s lately with another dry spell. Working through some cut issues due to some puffiness with our climb to higher heights threw a wet July early August and off schedule regulation. Despite that when the sun hits right it’s right!
I quit watching because I knew it was rigged once the “fumble” possession followed shortly after by a terrible “unnecessary roughness” call…between those & the UM blatancy it’s obvious networks/conf. are working to ensure certain names stay in the mix to create ratings

The epitome of a DGD.
Congratulations on a great career @NickChubb 🫡
It’s been a minute…hanging tough despite the punches being thrown by Mother Nature, light at the end of the tunnel being mid-August but so much to accomplish ahead of Fall tournament season.

Summer rains lead to wet golf courses and temporary adjustments to course maintenance. Try to be patient after wet weather, the sun will shine again and conditions will be back to normal before you know it.
The weather has made it quite challenging lately to stay on top of the Bermuda, plans to spray today were halted by a 3hr delay due to storms and another 0.25”. Continuing to bale hay and hopeful we can regulate soon.
Herbert Barker designed Druid Hills around steep slopes, creeks and scattered trees, creating a course with a wonderful natural feel. We’re delighted to be appointed the club’s new consultant architect & are now preparing a masterplan to strengthen its architecture and reputation

Extreme heat is affecting many parts of the U.S. right now and superintendents may have to temporarily play some defense to keep courses in good shape through this tough stretch 👇

I’m sorry but does the defensive coordinator tell the opposing offense what coverage they are going to play?
This is just unnecessarily soft from the USGA.
It’s the players job to adjust to the conditions in front of them.

Few places in the world can match the concentration of quality golf found on Long Island.
