I just today learned that Hammerhead can buff arrows.
This whole time I've been playing as if it only worked on harpoons.
On God the deck changes.
Come listen to some stories from from one of the nicest people I've ever met playing Flesh and Blood.

Missing Rosetta pre-release because I've locked myself out of my house without my car keys or wallet.
And my housemate's are out for dinner lmao.
It's just comical enough to post and share with the world.
If you're attending a pre-Release post pictures of your pulls for me!

This bnr takes guts and I really respect LSS for just going for it.
I didn't want to say it, but I've felt disenchanted with fab since Amsterdam. Swingy games decided by 15-20 life isn't what I fell in love with. This article spoke to me and has renewed my excitement for fab

These look like an amazing product, just should have been global not Japanese locked.
I'd really love to be able to show this to new players getting into the game with new set releases locally instead of struggling to source old cards for them.
I keep finding my draft decks from nats still sleeved up while looking for my blitz decks.
Send help.

🩸Flesh and Blood: An Ideal Trading Card Game for New Players🩸
Trading card games have captured the imaginations of players worldwide for decades, myself included who has been playing for at least 3 decades. While many games have come and gone, especially with the Kickstarter boom, each offer, or offered unique mechanics and themes.
Designed by Legend Story Studios, @fabtcg launched in 2019 and quickly stood out, the game garnishing a significant following. I unfortunately listened to others in the gaming industry and never gave the game a fair shake when it launched. I ostracized it, hated on it, and wouldn't even cover it on my channel during my time as a content creator.
However, over the last year I have found myself extremely burned out when it came to TCG's especially one specific game I have been playing since the 90's. So burned out in fact that I about called it quits with gaming all together.
Luckily a good friend of mine @Causchy refused to give up on me trying the game. A little over a month ago he sent me a few decks and I decided to give it a legitimate shot, and to my surprise I found out quickly what all the hype behind this game was. I found myself emersed in not just the game, but the lore that came with it. The community equally as amazing and welcoming has also made this game literally the greatest game I have played EVER when it comes to TCG's.
So I thought I would write the following....
Here’s why Flesh and Blood is an excellent choice for new players looking to start their journey into the world of TCGs.
1. Accessibility and Learning Curve📙
One of the most significant barriers to entry for many TCGs is the steep learning curve. However, Flesh and Blood excels in this area. The game offers a well-structured rulebook and numerous beginner-friendly resources, including tutorial videos and community support. Additionally, starter decks are designed to be balanced and straightforward, allowing new players to grasp the basics without feeling overwhelmed. Now mind you if you are looking to get into FAB competitively it isn't an easy game to master. Blitz VS Classic Constructed are different beasts all together so know that going into the game.
2. Engaging and Dynamic Gameplay🎲
Flesh and Blood stands out with its innovative and engaging gameplay. Unlike many TCGs where players summon creatures or spells, Flesh and Blood focuses on a hero-centric combat system. Each player selects a hero and builds a deck around their abilities, creating a personalized and immersive experience.
The game mechanics emphasize strategic decision-making and resource management, making every match exciting and different.
3. Community and Support🤝
The Flesh and Blood community amazing, and I didn't know going in just how welcoming and supportive they really were. If fact I was told the opposite, and that it was a very toxic community, which I haven't seen for myself at all since joining them a little over a month ago. I found the community was eager to help me and other new comers learn the ropes. The game’s organized play system includes events tailored for all skill levels, from casual meetups to competitive tournaments, ensuring that new players can find their niche and grow at their own pace.
4. Balanced Meta and Fair Play⚖️
One of the most appealing aspects of Flesh and Blood is its balanced meta. I'm not sure how balanced the game was when it was released in 2019, but coming into the game in 2024 I have only found one other game equally as balanced and that would be Star Wars Unlimited. Flesh and Blood designers, who often do a podcast on YouTube called Dev Talk are committed to maintaining a fair and competitive environment, regularly updating cards and rules to prevent any single strategy from dominating. This balance ensures that new players can compete on an even playing field, relying on skill and strategy rather than expensive, must-have cards.
5. Rich Lore and Art🧑🎨
Flesh and Blood is more than just a card game; it’s a journey into a massive fantasy world. The game’s lore is deep and well developed, offering players a chance to immerse themselves in the stories of their chosen heroes. Dare I say that this game has some of the best if not the best Lore in any game I have played. Additionally, the artwork on the cards is stunning, with each piece meticulously crafted to enhance the game’s aesthetic appeal. Thier most current expansion, Part the Mistveil was a banger to say the least. This combination of storytelling and visual artistry adds an extra layer of enjoyment for new players.
6. Cost Effective Entry💸
Entering the world of TCGs can often be a costly affair. However, Flesh and Blood offers a more cost-effective entry point. Starter decks are affordable and competitive enough to provide a solid foundation. Furthermore, the game’s format encourages strategic deck-building without requiring a vast collection of rare cards. This approach makes it easier for new players to build and modify their decks without breaking the bank. Now if you're leaning towards the competitive side of FAB, like most other TCG's it can get expensive building a competitive deck which I think is what most people get confused on when coming into the game.
7. Future-Proof Investment🔮
With a rapidly growing player base and strong support from Legend Story Studios, Flesh and Blood is here for the long run. Investing time and resources into learning and playing this game is a future proof endeavor. New players can be confident that their efforts will be rewarded as the game continues to evolve and expand. The LGS Armory Events are another example of this, earning cards and playmats you can only acquire through those events. Nationals and Worlds are also amazing events the game hosts that they even film live on YouTube, and surprisingly enough fun to watch, and this is from someone who hates watching TCG's matches played online.
Conclusion
Flesh and Blood is an exceptional TCG for new players, offering accessible rules, engaging gameplay, a supportive community, and a balanced meta. Its rich lore, beautiful art, and cost effective entry point make it an attractive choice for those looking to start their TCG journey. Whether you’re a seasoned gamer looking for something new or a complete newcomer to the genre, Flesh and Blood provides an unparalleled experience that’s worth exploring. So, grab a starter deck, choose your hero, and battle your friends and other players.#tcg #tcgplayer #foryou #tabletopgame #fleshandblood #newplayers #tradingcardgame #tradingcardcommunity #whyplay #community

Looking to sell my prism collection for $5000USD
It's the end of an era for me. This was a tough decision, but I'm selling my max rarity Prism collection to help fund an important surgery... and to hopefully justify a trip to Osaka for Worlds. (1/6)
