If you live in Arizona and want recommendations for judges on the November ballot, Rachel Alexander has a list.
🚨🚨🚨🚨Here is how to vote on the Maricopa County Superior Court judges! I apologize for the delay, I am a procrastinator with the attention span of a gnat. Early ballots go out this week, so will be updating it over the next few days with how to vote on judges in other counties, as well as the Arizona Supreme Court and Arizona Court of Appeals' judges. LD 4 thankfully already sent out a list of judges to vote no on, which I reference in my description of each judge. I added a few more to vote no on, and am unsure about a couple of their judges since I do not know their reasoning, so made that clear in this doc. intellectualconservative.com…

What we are witnessing in Brazil is the biggest political backfire in modern political history.
Communist tyrants came after Brazil’s Trump, Jair Bolsonaro.
He survived an assassination attempt.
They banned him from running for office.
Then they threw him in jail.
They accused him of attempting a coup after his election was stolen, just like they did here to Trump.
He’s currently serving a 27 year prison sentence.
The response: His wife won a Senate seat. His son Carlos won a Senate seat. His son Renan won a seat in Congress. His son Flávio is ahead of Lula for president of Brazil.
His son could unseat the very tyrant who threw him in jail.
The persecution of Bolsonaro has backfired into a political retribution against those who weaponized Government against the people's will.
You might be able to try to silence a man but you cannot silence a movement.

Dune #ID260682 in the prime of his life! Energetic, excitable, great w all 🐶roomies, lil pushy/mouthy (GSD norm🥰), loves getting pet💚
DON’T let them snuff out his life!💔
🆘Urgent in Southern California ~ adopter or foster needed
This is gorgeous , 3 year old , GSD named Dune. He was found as a stray💔He’s good with other dogs, he did well with a smaller kennel mate , he loves to be pet . According to the shelter he gets mouthy if you pet his hind end . The “shelter” recommends an experienced handler due to this ( GSDs are known to be mouthy) Its recommended he not go to a home with small children .
He is located at the deadly , Apple Valley, Municipal Animal Shelter , in Apple Valley, CA.
Please go to the shelter and adopt him or offer to adopt or foster him so a rescue can pull him .
This shelter has very little foot traffic. The dogs there really rely on us to share them.
Please consider Out of State Adoption 🇺🇸. It’s possible through a rescue.. Adopter does pay for transport.
Please share Dune. He is in great danger at this shelter.

Dani is a shy girl, and I feel she's misunderstood. Get her out of the stressful shelter environment, and with some time & patience this stunner will fill your home with her shine.
Downey won't extend. #HailMary 4 Dani

Grizzly bears in the autumn-colored tundra of Denali NP. All grizzly bears are brown bears, but not all brown bears are grizzly bears. Grizzly bears and brown bears are the same species (Ursus arctos) but grizzly bears are currently considered to be a separate subspecies (U. a. horribilis) of brown bear. The difference between a grizzly bear and a brown bear is fairly arbitrary. In North America, brown bears are generally considered to be those of the species that have access to coastal food resources like salmon. They are therefore also called coastal brown bears. Grizzly bears live further inland and typically do not have access to marine-derived food resources.
Besides habitat and diet, there are physical and temperamental differences between brown and grizzly bears. Large male brown bears in Katmai can routinely weigh over 1000 pounds (454 kg) in the fall. In contrast, grizzly bears in Denali National Park weigh far less on average. Additionally, grizzly bears seem to react to humans at greater distances than brown bears. Because of their more territorial behavior, they are more aggressive and therefore more dangerous.
The grizzly bear is so named because its hair is grizzled, or silver tipped, yet the name is commonly believed to be derived from "grisly," meaning "horrible."

Randy Johnson is a badass, and his parading the World Series trophy around Chase Field on the 25th anniversary might've awakened some powerful forces. The Diamondbacks haven't lost since.

Well, this isn't great.
Hurricane Polo will likely cross Baja California early next week before its remnants push into the U.S. Southwest.
Potential for a higher-end flood threat — people in Arizona and New Mexico should watch closely.

URGENT GSD AT DEVORE SLAUGHTERHOUSE SHELTER IN CA‼️ 🚨 EUTHANASIA DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 24 AT 6:00 AM 🚨
Rescue commitment must be received by 6:00 AM on September 23, before the shelter opens‼️ Without a rescue commitment, Sara will be euthanized before the shelter opens💔If you are trying to save her, please get your commitment in tonight.‼️Sara has only been at the shelter for 8 days.‼️‼️‼️Eight days.‼️‼️‼️
She came in as a stray on September 14, and somehow, just 8 days later, her life is on the line.💔
I can’t stop thinking about that.💔
We don’t know where Sara came from. We don’t know if someone is missing her. We don’t know what her life looked like before she ended up here.💔 We only know she is 3 years old, she is sick, and she is running out of time.💔
Sara has developed a hacking cough and nasal discharge and has been started on doxycycline and cough medication. Today, her discharge was clear. She is also in heat.💔That is a lot for any dog to go through, especially one who has only been here for a little over a week.💔She should be getting the chance to settle in. She should be getting better. She should be waiting for someone to come through those doors and realize she belongs with them. Instead, she is waiting for someone to save her life💔Sara is only 3.💔There should be years ahead of her. Years of walks, soft beds, car rides, silly moments, and finally knowing what it feels like to have someone who is hers.
Please don’t let 8 days be all she gets.‼️‼️
If you are a rescue who can help her, please contact the shelter immediately. She needs someone to step forward for her now.
