I mained Fox McCloud in every single Smash Bros title at #Supernova this year. Fox is often cited as one of the strongest characters in Super Smash Bros history, being a viable character in every single game. So I put that to the test this weekend and competed in every game.

Wanted to throw my hat into the ring with this one because a lot of people are making theirs based on Technical vs Fundamental, when in reality a characters difficulty stems from their depth as a whole and how hard it is to understand said character depth and execute a gameplan.

one thing I’ve noticed from playing a few casual commander games is that a lot of casual players are less interested in playing to win and are more interested in watching their deck do The Thing Their Deck Does
Totally asking for a friend here but what's more valuable to a sponsor? A top player or a content creator who goes 2-2?
Top 16s in this game have consistently been way more exciting than top 8s. The tippy top players of this game tend to have really lame and hard to interact with play styles that can be really boring to watch as a viewer.

I started learning Sonic for Character Crisis recently and I hate to say it but he's absolutely right. Sonic is actually really cool but the average smash player sees him turn into a ball and says "that's his whole moveset"

my first ever video got around 7k views and its thumbnail was literally white text on a black background. guarantee you it would’ve gotten a fraction of that if it was an AI slop thumbnail.
For some context this was game 5. I was on the verge of getting reverse 3-0'd after some very close games. This was the mountain I had to climb to not get eliminated from the bracket.
Yoshi got a lot of meaningful buffs from Smash 4 to Ultimate but the biggest may just be the engine change. Smash 4 didn't have many characters that could combo you to death. Ultimate does which makes Yoshi's double jump armor more important. Yoshi's offense is also eggcellent.
The last two years I've done this challenge as Fox and Captain Falcon and they at least felt somewhat similar throughout the series. Yoshi on the other hand has gone from being one of the most difficult characters in the series to one of the easiest.

This weekend I went to #Supernova the largest tournament ever and played as Captain Falcon in EVERY single Super Smash Bros game. No one else is the face of Smash quite like Captain Falcon but throughout his appearances in each game he functions very differently.
