My vote on Brexit was affected by disinformation. I voted Remain because I was told if Leave won there would be terrible consequences. The BoE Governor told me he would raise interest rates - he lowered them. The Chancellor said he'd have an emergency budget - he didn't. The Treasury said unemployment would go up - it went down. Goldman Sachs and others said they would pull out of Britain - they spent billions on new HQs The Chief Executive of the NHS Alliance said there would be an epidemic of super-gonorrhoea. As for foreign interference - The EU, the US and Irish Presidents etc etc all weighed in on the side of Remain.

Oh look. Reform split the vote and let the SNP in. But when they do it, it’s fine 🙄
How dare Reform lecture any party on vote splitting when they just helped the SNP.

Nobody is entitled to your vote. A party has to earn it. If a party is built by absorbing the MPs who wrecked the country, you are not entitled to complain when people look elsewhere.

The private sector creates the wealth. The government spends it. The Labour government forgot which one comes first. Every public-sector wage, every benefit, every hospital, every local government salary, every government infrastructure project is paid for by people who take a risk, hire someone, make something, sell something and turn a profit. That is not ideology. That is basic economic arithmetic. Labour came into power talking about growth and partnership with business. But the Labour government simply do not understand the economic engine room of the private sector. They treat the people who generate the money as a cash machine. Look at what the Labour government actually did: They put a tax on jobs. Employer National Insurance went from 13.8% to 15%, and the threshold collapsed from £9,100 to £5,000. That is not a levy on “the rich.” That is a levy on hiring a receptionist, a warehouse worker, an apprentice. Employer NICs then jumped 28% in a year and overtook corporation tax as the biggest tax paid by business. Companies paid almost £345 billion in tax in 2025–26 - up by 12.7%. That money comes out of wages that were not raised, jobs that were not created and investment that was postponed. The Labour government raised the price of success. They choked off growth. Capital gains tax went up. Business Asset Disposal Relief was watered down. Dividend tax went up. Farmers and family businesses were punished with inheritance tax. Smalll business founders were told, in effect: take the risk and when you finally sell the thing you built, we will treat the exit more like a success punishment payment to the government. That is not “fairness.” That is a government eating the seed corn of an economy. They layered cost on cost. Higher minimum wages with no offsetting productivity. Heavier employment regulation. Business rates that still punish the high street. Energy costs that leave manufacturers uncompetitive. Then more government briefings about the next raid — more capital gains tax, more wealth taxes, more “the rich must pay.” More uncertainty for businesses. Uncertainty is a tax of its own. And then the Labour government act surprised when private-sector activity slumps, businesses close, hiring stalls, and the CBI has to warn the government not to hit businesses again. You cannot squeeze the wealth-creating part of the economy and then demand it produces more growth, more jobs and more tax receipts. That is not redistribution. It is a wrecking ball strategy. You do not create more jobs by making it more expensive to employ anyone. You do not get more houses by driving builders and investors away. You do not produce more food by punishing those who grow the food. You do not get a richer country by treating profit and employee growth as something that should be plundered by the government. The wealth of a nation is built by people who could have chosen an easier life and did not. Punish that class long enough and you do not get equality. You get stagnation, fewer jobs and an economically illiterate government still hungry for money that is no longer being made because of their failure to support our British businesses. If Britain wants better public services, it needs a private sector that is expanding, not one that is being financially punished for the privilege of still being here.

‘British national’ is nothing more than a tax designator. Everything else formerly associated with the words, most particularly a sense of collective ‘we’ and the social contract that once went with it is gone. Successive ‘national’ governments authored this destruction. All the British ‘values’ they point a finger at are confected bullshit designed to further subvert whatever shreds of dignity you had left.

If I was a self-aware lefty (contradiction in terms, I know) I'd be feeling like a bit of a twat right now. Everything they've ever supported has been totally self-defeating. They supported the climate scam and now they can't afford electricity. They supported laws punishing landlords and now they can't find a place to rent. They supported high taxes and now there aren't any jobs. They supported open borders and now there's no casual work for them or their kids. They supported welfare increases so now there's no money to maintain basic amenities. They supported "refugees" and now rapey Afghans being moved into their street. They supported trans rights and now their daughters have to share changing rooms with total perverts. And worse still, because they've built their entire personality around their ideology, and believe themselves to be morally and intellectually superior, they have to suck it up and pretend they like the way they've soiled their own nest. They now have to pretend that the overcrowded urban slums they have to live in are "vibrant" and "enriched by diversity" even though he next door neighbour on one side is an Albanian heroin dealer, and the other side is a family of Roma benefit monkeys who keep breaking off your car wing mirrors. This is why lefties live in a bubble of delusion because if they actually had to face up to the fact that the deteriorating world around them is exactly what they keep voting for, their tiny little brains would capsize.

The story we are told by media is that the electorate lurched right. Whether it is Germany or Australia it’s the same . That is the convenient story. Wicked far right politicians leading sheep toward evil . The true story is simpler: the media reclassified the center, then demanded everybody comply . It’s the non compliance they label as “ far right “ Hold that there are two sexes and you are a bigot. Question gender affirming hormones for children and you are as well Want immigration that is lawful, limited, and chosen by the country receiving it, and you are far right. Believe a nation is more than an economic zone that it has a language, a memory, and a culture worth keeping and you are a radical and probably a coloniser . Think crime should meet a consequence, and you have become extreme. Prefer that people be judged by what they can do rather than the category they occupy, and even merit is now a right-wing tell. These aren’t the slogans of a fringe. They were the default assumptions of ordinary media the most radicalised media in civilisations history. What changed is not that millions of voters discovered a new ideology. What changed is the media filing system. The media has been radicalised to the point they actively despise & reject their own audience who with a few minor exceptions haven’t changed at all .

Reform MPs are complaining that Restore handed the win to the Green's. There is a certain level of arrogance here. Reform are owed nothing by the public, just the honesty of their vote. It is Reform who handed the win to the Green Party, disregarding the opinions of many of their voters: 1. Treatment of Rupert Lowe 2. Softening policies 3. Recruiting architects of failure 4. Insulting Restore voters If Reform would like to win an election, they will not do it through persistent arrogance and belittling of voters. They have tried this, it has not worked, now it just looks like a tantrum. Not one Restore voter has changed their mind because Reform has insulted them. These are the facts, do with them what you will.

I’m assuming I have some Reform followers and I’m not trying to alienate, attack or wind you up, but I do feel like I need to explain something on behalf of other Restore voters. If Restore didn’t exist, we wouldn’t be voting Reform anyway, which means you still would’ve lost to the Greens. You need to address that problem rather than blaming us because you think we owe you our vote. We don’t. On a personal note, I’d no sooner vote for Reform than I would drink a cup of my own vomit. I know you don’t understand that, but it’s because we view Reform as the same uniparty establishment as the Tories, Lib Dems, Labour, Greens. As far as we’re concerned, there’s literally no difference between any of them because they all offer the same thing—the death of Britain. You’re never going to get our vote while we view things this way. So you either need to unite with us—we have offered—or radically change your party and its policies to entice us. I can tell you precisely why you’ll never get our vote as things stand: 1. We believe that Rupert is the only man for the job. You ejected him from the party—rather unceremoniously. 2. Farage gave an interview claiming Reform needed the Muslim vote. 3. Farage gave an interview stating that deportations weren’t going to happen under a Reform government—that they were “impossible.” 4. They made the party a retirement home for plastic Tories who belong in the Lib Dem party. 5. They don’t have the serious, robust, workable, legally dense, intricately thought out and intelligently mapped policy papers that we do. 6. You recklessly tried to satisfy candidate quotas by throwing any ethnic minority into the mix, including people who entered the country as part of the Boris Wave. We’re really not trying to be your enemy, and we’re not trying to sabotage you. We just fundamentally believe in our Restore movement. It’s not us—it’s you.
