Its good riot finally watched arcane and noticed Mel's main feat was shielding an ally.
Mel is getting a midscope update, W now destroys enemy projectiles, deals a small amount of damage back, grants a shield and movespeed to her allies.

Gears of Wars unique version of "peekers advantage" is funny.
In most games, a player peeking out of cover has a slight advantage because the server reads it as first. Like in CS or cod.
Here the advantage is the other guy is walking towards you into your gib range "first" ☝️🤓

Yup E day is goated. Campaign is up there with 3 and the new movement feels so good its feels good its hard to believe it wasnt always like this. The visuals, the sound design, its all good.
