Do you recall the first freedom protected in the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution? If not, here is the text, and you will see that listed first is the freedom of religion. This is what each and every person who serves in government, and becomes a citizen must vow to uphold, not a person, but a concept of law and liberty. ----------------- The text of the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution is: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

This repost is of a brilliant town hall question and discussion on the protection and need for loyalty to the Constitution that all of us should have, and why the Freedom of Religion is so important: xitter.cf/maddenifico/status/211…
This is how you dismantle hate: When an Islamophobe bigot targeted his faith and questioned his loyalty, Abdul El-Sayed delivered a masterful response — invoking John F. Kennedy's historic legacy to firmly declare where his true allegiance lies.

The MAGA up is down crowd should be extremely happy that this is happening! It is up, up and away again for oil!! From CNBC is this screen grab and link all thanks to Trump's efforts to start a war and to fail to end the one with his buddy the Vlad Putin-------cnbc.com/2026/10/16/oil-pric…

Remember to not drive your truck off a cliff to "test your air brakes" because they may not work in "air". In my prior post, one of Anthropic's founders, Jack Clark stated that he believes A/I will make the U.S. GDP rise to over 44 Trillion by 2030. But, will there be any downside? According to this recent poll of Anthropic workers, the answer is "Yes". Here is what they say: Anthropic published new surveys comparing its staffers' sentiments to those of US workers. The AI startup's employees expect the tech to change work and the economy far more dramatically. Most Anthropic employees guessed that unemployment would top 12% in 2030.----businessinsider.com/anthropi…

Here is one big positive prediction from an extremely smart person as reported in SeekingAlpha.com: Anthropic (ANTHRO) ‌co-founder Jack Clark said on Saturday that one of his company’s internal economic models projected U.S. economic output to reach $44T by 2030 thanks to fast-improving AI capabilities that could transform all fields at a more rapid pace.------seekingalpha.com/news/465403…

Below is one big reason why interest rates are going up, up, up, and the administration is asking for another 1/2 trillion increase in the military budget! WTF???? : --------------- "The independent budget hawks at the Committee for a Responsible Budget noted in a recent analysis that "the country's future fiscal outlook is even more dismal," noting that annual deficits could reach $3.1 trillion by 2036 without a change in the fiscal trajectory. The group noted that annual interest costs on the debt are now $1.1 trillion, a record 3.4% of GDP, making it the second-largest line item in the government's budget. Interest on the debt still costs less than Social Security, but it is now more expensive than either Medicare or the defense budget."-------finance.yahoo.com/economy/po…

If this screen gram doesn't scare you, probably nothing will! Not only do we need a Bill Clinton type budget and surplus, but we are getting the opposite from every stinking administration that is elected regardless of the political party. From Bloomberg:

Have we seen the peak of the oil shortages created by the wars that Russia and the U.S.A. have started? No. Probably not because this was just announced as reported by Oilprice.com: ----------- "The United States is putting another 17 million barrels of crude from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve on offer, one day after the IEA accelerated emergency stock releases as governments scramble to get more oil and fuel into a tight market. The Department of Energy issued a request for proposals Friday for an exchange of up to 17 million barrels, part of the 172 million barrels Washington committed to make available under the IEA’s 400-million-barrel emergency action announced in March."-------oilprice.com/Latest-Energy-N…

Another win for MAGA as we now have an even more unbalanced budget with higher debt, inflation and higher costs for everyone! At least the growth of the U.S. debt is the opposite of what President TACO NACO promised when he ran. Now, those who believe in MAGA can be happy because up is down and down is up in MAGALAND and we have higher prices and more inflation and more national debt! Will someone give Bill Clinton a call??? He was the only President in the past 70 years to actually have a surplus balanced budget and a growing economy. He could have some great ideas on how to fix this hot mess of deficit spending! --------- From CNBC: U.S. budget deficit swells to almost $2 trillion for fiscal 2026, up 12% in a single year cnb.cx/4yMwHoO

All the MAGA crowd points out how "billions" will be invested to create new manufacturing jobs, while leaving out the part that "billions may be lost in distribution and import jobs as prices go higher, and the billions that will be invested may be smoke and mirrors like the Carrier jobs in Indiana, or the Foxconn jobs in Michigan that left the U.S. or never came in Trump's first term while Trump was boasting they were staying in the U.S.A. If the illegal import tariff taxes are creating jobs, we should now at least see factories being built like never before to give the new manufacturing jobs a home here, but are we seeing that? NO of course not, and according to this repost the opposite, or pure MAGA is true, (up is down and down is up) as factory construction, even with the data centers is down 31% in the two years since Trump took office again: xitter.cf/SteveRattner/status/21…
Trump says we’re building “more factories and plants right now than at any time in our history.” Factory construction hit a historic record under Biden and has fallen 31% since Trump took office. My @Morning_Joe Chart

Let me try to get the facts straight here. First, CONgress passed a new bill to sanctinon Russia to help end its horrible war against Ukraine. It was a bill that the late Lindsay Graham strongly supported. Next, President Trump signed the bill into law. Now, the following headline from Reuters: Conclusion: Putin really does have Trump on a short leash that is probably backed by extreme Kompromat of recordings and videos so, anything Vlad wants from Trump, Vlad gets.

Here is why the U.S.A. is losing the war in Iran, coupled with the fact that like Viet Nam, the Iranian people actually live there and we don't!!! From Reuters: reuters.com/investigates/spe…

Don't worry MAGA believers, Trump and his billionaire friends won't care about this issue, or if it affects you! He will be ok and that is all you need to know!!! From National Security Journal comes this screen grab:

Our Secretary of Commerce "Nutnick" Lutnick as he may known is evidently in favor of taxes! He wants to keep the import taxes (a/k/a tariffs) on autos from Mexico as well as other goods. The result is higher, and higher prices for American consumers. Of course, if you are a billionaire like him, the higher prices don't really matter at all. Here is the excerpt and link to the Wall Street Journal story on the trade negotiations: ------------------ "Progress toward a U.S.-Mexico tariff deal has stalled after opposition from Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, people familiar with the talks said, the second time that he has had a hand in upending advanced negotiations with a North American partner. The U.S. and Mexico had been zeroing in on a deal that would reduce U.S. levies on steel, aluminum and automobiles in exchange for a series of concessions from Mexico, these people said, paving the way for further talks on renewing the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement. Mexican officials and many corporate executives expressed optimism that a deal was close, they said."----wsj.com/economy/trade/lutnic… ------------------------------------- What really is crazy about this deal is that Mexico would probably give almost any concession the U.S. wants in return for free trade. One big ask should be the ability to snuff out the drug cartels that run throughout Mexico and to use Mexican and U.S. forces to do it. This could send a big signal to the drug cartels in general. The other big ask is to help stop any immigration except through proper channels. (They may be doing this somewhat but more could and should be done to help U.S. immigration enforcement) I really and truly do not see how the U.S.A. can export into other countries if we have helped their country to be a poor struggling country. After World War II, the U.S. benefitted greatly from being the only industrialized country that could produce goods. All the others were bombed out! However, the rise of Europe and Japan with the help fo the U.S.A. sparked a global rise in wealth like never seen before in history. Like the old saying goes, "I never met someone who worked for someone who was broke", and the same may be true that other countries who are "broke" will not be markets for the U.S.A. Wouldn't it be prudent to keep American wealth rising with the rising tide of prosperity worldwide by using the abundance we have in a variety of areas to sell to them. If they impose specifically high barriers to our trade, then it may be appropriate on a very specific basis to impose import taxes, or even an embargo. However, that tactic must be used specifically and sparingly lest it become a huge global trade war like the 1930s.

Any chances of the FED lowering interest rates is not likely in the near future. The screen grab from Bloomberg indicaes why:

This is a repost from another X user. I did not verify if the Majorie Taylor Green post was accurate, but I feel it could very well be. MTG sort of sums up the feeling of a lot of us former Republicans who never drank the MAGA juice. xitter.cf/JamesTate121/status/21…
I didn't know MTG had it in her. 🤣🤣🤣
