TO VOTE OR NOT TO VOTE...IT'S NOT A QUESTION There comes a moment when every generation finds out what it is made of. Not when things are easy. Not when the path is clear. But when faith is tested, institutions are questioned, morale is collapsing, and good men are being told that nothing matters anymore. That is when you stand. I think about the Americans who came before us......the ones who crossed frozen rivers, stood behind stone walls, charged beaches, crawled through jungles, crossed deserts, and carried their brothers home. They were not promised victory. They were not promised fairness. They were not promised they would even live to see what came next. They simply understood that freedom survives only when someone is willing to carry it forward. If I had been alive in 1775, I would like to believe I would have been tightening my gear, checking my rifle, looking at the men beside me, and preparing to march. Not because I knew we would win. Because some things are worth standing for even when the outcome is uncertain. That spirit cannot die now. You can question the system. You can demand accountability. You can challenge corruption. You can refuse blind trust. But never confuse distrust with surrender. Washington called liberty a sacred fire. Lincoln called our duty unfinished work. Kennedy told us not to shrink from responsibility. Now the torch is in our hands. Maybe this is our moment. Maybe history is looking at us right now and asking the same question it asked every generation before us: Will you carry it forward? I know my answer. I will not quit on America. I will not surrender my voice. I will not surrender my duty. I will stand. I will fight lawfully. I will speak. I will vote. And I will do everything I can to leave this Republic stronger than I found it. For those who came before us. For those standing beside us And for the Americans who have not been born yet. It is our turn now. SEMPER FI, -ALPHA

All of Suno's V6 is horrible. It never follows the prompt properly; when I try to make a cover, it comes out completely off; the vocals are too choppy, and the music quality is way too thin and sounds too plastic. At least with V5.5 and 4.5, they sound a lot better and follow what you want. Removing them kills creator freedom, hurting your brand more than it helps.
Welcome to the v6 era. Our best models yet, built in partnership with artists and producers. Here’s how the family works 🧵

World of Warcraft: Forever is being made for Classic fans and the millions of players who quit because they didn’t like how WoW changed over the years. Developer Matthew Armstrong says his goal is to stay close to the original 2004 WoW, including its art style, classes, social features, and game design. “If you’re making a game for everyone then you’re making it for no one.” He also believes that too much convenience can take away from the journey. This could be exactly what longtime Classic players have been asking for

Listen to yourself. “It’s really fucking dangerous.” “Artists and animators deserve better.” “We won’t stay silent.” You posted a crayon sheet and a dancing-dog clip like that’s a brief. You’re running the same recycled Luddite lines used by people above your weight class, in eras you don’t remember. Let me refresh your memory. “Pick up a pencil” is not a theory of art. It is a seniority test. Every tool that made the last generation’s job cheaper got the same sermon. 1859. Baudelaire. Photography. “This industry, by invading the territories of art, has become art’s most mortal enemy.” He called photographers failed painters, “too lazy to complete their studies,” and said the crowd was too stupid to tell the difference. quoteinvestigator.com/2022/1… Painting did not die. The camera became a medium. The sermon moved. 1961. Xerox. Disney inkers. You said animators. Good. Start here. 101 Dalmatians copied drawings to cels with a Xerox machine so they didn’t have to hand-ink every line. Walt thought it looked cheap and killed the “illusion of life.” The inkers were laid off. One account: when Xerox came in, “we ended up with all the inkers being laid off.” Artists called it production-line work. Then it became “just another part of the process.” smithsonianmag.com/innovatio… lifeinthemachine.substack.co… The machine did the tracing. Jobs vanished. The movie is a classic. Nobody says Xeroxed cels aren’t animation. 1989-90. CAPS. Disney hid the computer. Digital ink and paint replaced painted cels. Disney kept CAPS quiet, afraid “the luster of the Disney name would be tarnished” if people learned computers were involved. An exec said they didn’t want a review of a “digital movie.” animationobsessive.substack.… en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comput… The studio that now counts as “real animation” in your mouth lied about using computers because your argument already existed: machine touches it, magic dies, not real. Then digital 2D became orthodox. Then CGI ate the 2D unit. Then the next tool was fake. The velvet rope keeps moving. You keep standing at whatever hook you arrived on. 1965. Computer pictures. Time said the Howard Wise show had the appeal of “the notch patterns found on IBM cards.” The Herald Tribune called it “cold and soulless.” median.newmediacaucus.org/ca… 2004-06. Digital photography. Terry O’Neill: “Digital is for amateurs and paparazzi.” Digital “reduce[s] everything to a snapshot.” Tony Long at Wired: unless you put brush to canvas, “you are merely a technician with a good eye.” independent.co.uk/news/uk/th… thomashawk.com/2006/08/tony-… 2008-11. Digital painting. DeviantArt: no original, therefore not art. Undo is cheating. Pick up a real pencil. Fans said digital drawing was worse than burning pages. deviantart.com/forum/devart/… deviantart.com/zhourules/jou… That is your video with the dates changed. Kid wants to be an artist. New tool shows up. Therefore the craft is being murdered. Therefore it is “dangerous.” Two claims got glued together so you wouldn’t have to defend either one. Labor. Tools cut departments. Xerox cut inkers. CAPS cut painters. CGI cut 2D. That is real. Make it as an industry argument. Ontology. “This cannot be art.” That one is a corpse. You are yelling over a graveyard of the same speech. A dancing AI dog does not abolish drawing. What you are angry about is that the gate no longer works. When the barrier to making an image drops, the status of “I suffered longer” drops with it. That feels like death if your identity is the suffering. Kids still pick up pencils. They also open laptops. They did the same when the laptop was Photoshop and the old heads called that cheating. You are not the first choir. You are the cover band. If the claim is “support people who put years into craft,” buy their work. That’s a preference. If the claim is “the new tool is illegitimate until the world shuts up and hears us,” that’s the 1859 letter with worse grammar. Pick up a history book. The pencil lecture is older than your account.
Yall people think is not that serious or a big of a deal when it’s that serious and a big of a deal and it’s really fucking dangerous as well we as artists and animators etc deserve better and we won’t stay silent until everyone finally hears us
