A cloudy ascent up Beinn Chìochan yesterday, taking on the summits of Conachcraig & Meikle Pap en route before reaching Cac Càrn Mòr & Beag (if you know, you know💩😂). Walked down the Glas Allt valley, detouring to the summits of Cuidhe Crom & Little Pap, down to Loch Muick 😍

Also spending some delightful time at home here on the West Coast, no better place 😍

Very pleased to have been awarded the James Hutton Limited Innovation Award for my presentation on my recently developed novel #microplastic extraction method. Great event & well done to all the presenters, great to hear all the diverse PhD research @JamesHuttonInst #HuttonPhD21

Interesting discussions had involving my work on #magnetic separation of #microplastics in soils as well

Spending today @JamesHuttonInst Annual Symposium. Good start listening to another of my supervisors, Sandhyda Devalla, discussing where we’re at with #microplastics separation, detection and analysis from soils

First time listening to @Soilfit talking as one of my PhD supervisors and can honestly saying she inspires me more and more. Genuinely excited to learn from her and have her guidance through my research #SupervisorAppreciation @SSFRSymposium

Had a lovely cycle today out past Peterculter 🚴🏻‍♂️ Nice to spend some time out the city and in the sun and warmth. Ride home didn’t really go to plan when my pedal snapped off and had to pedal one-legged

And just like that 4 yrs of uni have passed... Excited to see what my next steps will be. Several options lined up but have an interview for an amazing opportunity at the end of the month! So making use of this lovey day & preparing for it in the sun in one of my favourite spots

Happy 88th birthday to my favourite composer & lyrist 🎉🎂 Absolute musical genius youtu.be/KOZhmsp6iBQ
