How committed is Jalen Hurts to football? After initially being diagnosed with a superficial blood clot in London, doctors told him not to sleep as a precaution, so he had been awake for roughly 36 hours when he started against the Jaguars, throwing for 220 yards and a TD.

#Eagles QB Jalen Hurts, who is out for the season after several blood clots were revealed in his lungs, has been undergoing tests for days. Before the London game, Hurts was in the hospital until 4 am and did not sleep because sleep was a risk. He played without having slept.

“Viewership will go down.” People will still tune in to see Stewie, A’ja, Angel, etc. Real hoops fans and actual fans of the W can talk real ball now. Caring about viewership and attendance more than winning postseason games is a choice.

The commentary on sexual assault on here the last few days has been disturbing. Surround yourself with good people. Anyone who defends or appears to be an apologist for that has to go.

If athletes create less value, then surely universities would be comfortable letting the free market decide, no?

This morning on ESPN's First Take, Nick Saban argued player and coach pay are "totally different markets." "That's like asking me 'Does a student's scholarship equal the professor's pay?' I mean, how much value does a coach create for a university?" 📺 💰️
